I also think the engine has been tweaked this season...but CL has always been uncertain in group stages, the weaker and abandoned teams play like they are avoiding relegation.

Desert Rats FC had mixed fortunes today, producing a very good League win over a long-term friend and adversary; and then a very poor showing in the Cup, only really starting to play when 0-3 down and losing on aggregate, by then too late to do anything about it.



In contrast, Nouvion FC continue to sweep all before them, left-winger David Dorizon leading the way with his fourth hat-trick in four days.

After two defeats in the CL, the Nebuchadnezzar finally have their first victory and are confident of making it to the knockout stages.
This is what the group currently looks like now:



I just noticed that only the club on top has scored as much as I have. We needed better defending (to maintain the goals we score) so we got a new goalie and another DC. Let's see how it goes.

After a week of game play, my team finally found some sort of groove and is finally on a mini winning streak.
Training has leapfrogged my quality from 6th to 3rd best in league so far and is coincidentally where i stand in standings as well.
Still surviving in cup barely clinching the first leg of the round of 16 match up earlier by a 1-0 margin, still anyone's game.
And finally clinched my first CL win yesterday and moving up from last spot to 2nd.

I noticed the winning bonus does help keep my morale up longer than usual when i win.
As to whether the win bonus helps me win the matches, i cant really tell but am using the win bonus alot this season as i am going through a reshuffle and my team is weaker than usual so am hoping to get all the help i can get.

Yes yes, i am one such beneficiary. My team is 3rd best in my group.
Yesterday i was up against a player around 12-15% better and i beat him 5-0. My only win this season in CL this season so far.
He didnt attend and i managed to have more possession with supporters at max 15%. Had win bonus on and max condition.
Didnt bother with morale because i really dont mind losing and trying for super league instead. I guess engine prefers to keep things really exciting!
