I have a Facebook friend who recently joined Level 1, I am receiving gifts and Tokens (mentor awards)? as he wins auctions and watches matches as i referred him. We are on the same server however we are unable to view each others matches/fixtures and unable to support each other, i am at level 9,is this the same for anyone else ?

How do you know that you're on the same server? If you can't support each other during matches - you're not, that's the only way that you can know if you're on the same server.

Yeah ... that's the most stupid part - you can't watch a match on another server, yet you can play friendlies between all of them.
