Nothing to do. I can confirm it’s a troll season. I lose against the first of the league (107% vs 103,5%).
I really don’t care anymore.
Posting my Mid season report a day early as i expect tomorrow to be a busy day.
League
Post merger i got one of the easiest draws for i have ever had for league. Easy because the 2nd best team started 10 quality below me and 3rd 20 quality below. The rest lets not mention lol. With training i am now almost 20 quality higher than the 2nd spot. No one is active and so far the game engine has not successfully trolled me. There was a close shave when i logged in late but the moment i logged in, my team all a sudden got energised without me doing anything. I literally saw their rating jump by 1 each and soon after the goals came over coming a 1-0 deficit to win 2-1. It was against a -50 q team.

I got an easy group. Not that lucky after the group stage though. My road to the final is going to be against pretty evenly matched opponents while i see other group leaders meeting much weaker opponents in the round of 16 at least. Gonna be tough but when there is a will, there's a way.

Cup
I know it doesn't look like it but my last 2 opponents were tough. I had max win bonuses all the way since the round of 16 started since my team only managed 1-0 victories in the first legs of both matchups. Both teams were lower quality than me but not a big difference, all within 10. Looking forward its 50-50 all the way. Toughest opponent will be in the finals. Both teams at the other semifinals have a higher quality than myself but lets see with my younger team and training if i can catch up.

And the best achievement this week was breaking my all time wins in a row record. I know it isnt much but it still took me forever to break it. It was 25 and i set it in season 1!!! thats 14 seasons ago lol

Cup is going well, like totally diferent to CL but with same opponents [emoji53]. Started playing like Arsenal but without AMC (3-2-3-2 with 3 MC, had to spend 220 greens for another MC, trained from 60% to 120% + speciality playmaker). After yesterday's paucity of goal celebrations, a veritable glut of goals in today's matches against moderately inferior opposition.

Nouvion are top of their league, Qualified for the Champions League knockout stages at the top of their Group, and today progressed to the Semi-Finals of the Cup. Their only defeat this season was at home in the First Leg of the Round of 16 of the Cup.

Out of the cup. Won 6-2 away 1st leg CL Rd of 16. Pretty much secured QF spot. League leader by 4pts.

League halfway point, and both teams have substantial leads at the top.
Desert Rats FC fought back from 0-2 down to level their Champions League tie after the 1st Leg, two away goals a handy advantage for the return Leg later. Then a good League win, the lead increasing as the 2nd place team slip up with a draw.

Nouvion FC have a big lead in their Champions League tie, and with the defence of their League opponent keeping the strike force at bay, right wingback Philippe Hollenstein took the honours to keep the 100% record intact.

All in all a good day! Got the convincing victory i wanted for CL so i should be through to the next round. Boys continue to dominate league in my absence. Whole association did badly today though. Finishing off with 9 points as 2nd for tournament.
The game i just had was waaaayyyyy tooo close for comfort. I swear if i lost, his GK would be MOM. I was present, he wasn't. I had 15 percent possession bonus. I trained everything to max. And my morale was all green. Yup i eventually won after going down 2-1 and making panicky substitutions and changing to HARD attacking. I think i beat the troll on this one or was it suppose to be like this. Ooo and he is around 20 percent weaker, no well trained players, nada! My GK finally made a save, if he didnt make that 1 save. It would have been 3-3. Phew.....time for a smoke

I almost got trolled today, as usuall, its after I have played a number of special events matches. I struggled to beat this weaker team, with my best strikers just throwing 1 on 1s they used to score away. I finally won 2-1. Am back on top as the guy that toppled me lost his game, against a strong side though...
Both sides with good wins today on 3rd week Monday, which in previous seasons have seen several 'suspicious' results.
Desert Rats FC got off the mark in the 3rd minute, and after that took a while to get into the match, but eventually the floodgates were opened...

Nouvion FC met a side which has improved greatly since the first match on home turf. The match quickly turned into a war of attrition which was, predictably, settled by a dead ball situation - free-kick expert DC Ibrahim Kodjia capitalising on a defensive error to curve home the set-piece to give the three points to our heroes.

The Nebuchadnezzar are back in the CL race, having lost the first leg at home 0-1, when they gave away a careless foul. The opponent took their chance.
However, the manager adopted his recent nemesis' style (Loopi) . Having decided to play defensive in the opponents home, the players were drilled thoroughly to master their game, using more greens didn't matter to the coach and they were rewarded with 1-4 resounding victory. And their CL title hopes now shines even brighter...
Team continued to deny odds and romped to their 37th consecutive victory. After a 3-0 victory in the first leg of the CL tie, i felt safe enough to allow my AM to take charge and he did not disappoint. In fact, he showed me how things should be done with a 5-0 victory. Fine, i'll give him a raise if he promises to take his job seriously and stop writing reports that make no sense.
So my next opponent in CL is the highest rated white skilled team in the entire tournament. I have the highest rated balanced team. There is a 15 percent quality diff between us. My whites may not be as high but i think i can put up a good fight. He did eliminated a team 8 percent stronger than him but it did not look like a trained team. Just high quality players straight from the auction.
