    Anybody else ever faced the same team like this?

    1 and 2 in two different competitions?


    I've got a fair cushion in league, but Taz Bull has hung right with me all season.
    .. and I'll meet them in the Champion's League finale as well!


    Bummer for him ... if not for my Rangers, he could be taking home two first place trophies this season!
    (Reality a CL victory is by no means assured for me - it will be a close match, and I face GRC Dollywood in a 2am league away game tomorrow after a late game today, so my players won't be in top form.)

    Two seasons ago, I finished 2nd to the same team in both the league and CL.

    Yupp, I´ve been facing my league rival in the CL twice (groupstage and final-eight), and an another FB friend in the CUP. This season I´m playing against my league rival for the 3rd time - in the CL Finals

    I beat the guy that is #2 in my League in the Semi of the CL this season. not quite 1 and 2 in two competitions, but not far away either
    HARDHAUS
    Season 5: Ongoing...
    Season 4: League: Runner up (again behind my GF, she's becoming my Nemesis... lol Cup: Lost in 1/4 Final CL: Winner
    Season 3: League: Winner Cup: Lost in Semi CL: Eliminated in Semi (by my gf.... sigh!)
    Season 2: League: Winner (Undefeated) Cup: Eliminated in Quarter Final. CL: Winner
    Season 1: League 2nd place (played last 12 games, up from 8th). Cup prelims (before taking over) CL n/a

    I hope so. Would be my first CL championship - best previous finish was 2nd.

    2-1 victory in CL, then locked up the league title as well.
    Talked to Taz Bull and he's locked up 2nd in league, finished 2nd in CL, and yesterday he lost Cup final to finish 2nd in cup!
