Haha, yeh, everyone that bid lost their tokens!
And the kids nowadays complain.....

That system was way better than what you have now. It was a much more strategic market to buy players.

The record I have is 223 tokens, back from old times.
When the 2nd bidder was loosing all his tokens

bearing in mind people were buying tokens as well this could have be classed as fraud and illegal as there was no actual proof you were bidding against real people

The days when you could buy a real NORDGEN for 1 or 2 tokens (from HEAVY A,C, or F.C. LOVELY etc) but you should save the tokens from two seasons to buy a scout player. The days of the"last second bid", to surprise your opponent. The good old days of the auctions...

And the timing was much better than it is now. It was every 2 or 3 hours i think. So if you find something, you can come back before deadline if not then you not waste your time and come back after these hours. What is now, you wait and wait and wait those 4 minutes and... wait again till you see that blockheads bidders waste their tokens like insane rams.
