So still no connection between positioning and arrows. And what is the biggest problem, that there is still not answers from nordeus in all these years.
To clarify ( after a lot of talks here in the forum and with the support ) , AML and AMR very high are not playing like MC but is a legit role , They are playing in the Second Striker role, a role between AMC and ST , to understand look this pic

The role is also called "central winger", cause they are wingers that play in the middle instead of the flanks

Regarding the arrows , i did a lot of tests ( and also a lot of talks about it )and in some roles you can see your player play in a more foward postition or
in a more deeper position , if you want to see it do this easy test : play a match with a defensive mentality and with a formation with MR (or ML ) and change the arrow on him during the match , you will see ( in the animation ) the player starting position more up or more deep.

Like i said before i can see the effect more on flank roles, amc and dmc role too , st sometimes ( with a back arrows sometimes drop deeper ) , difficult to see the effect on MC's (cause they already have the duty to go up and down) , DC difficult to see the effect.

So arrows simply make your player play in a more foward position or in a more deeper position than his starting position.

That's completely ilogical. One would expect a high winger to play as wide left/right forward, not as central second striker. One would expect that from an AMC who is positioned high/has a forward arrow. If this is official information, I qualify this as a bug..

Man, there is no such a role as central winger. But is a rf - right foward and lf - left foward. So maybe they play in this role. But in other hand what role has these 2 wide strikers when you play with 3st coz in reality that 2 wide strikers would be RF AND LF.
So now aml and amr. It means left/right attacking midfielders. This role is football is LAM AND RAM and usually are played with 4-2-3-1 formation (as 3 attacking midfielders) ( and you cant play with 3 amc because it;s illegal here). So now question: where the hell is left or right wing position in this game? You say aml/amr, it looks like, because here isn't another option.

I looked on the internet and "central winger" is the name which is given to the AMC in 4-2-3-1 lately. Summarizing, this is because he must not look for spaces to attack forward in the middle like the AMC in 4-3-1-2 for example, because there is none (he has only one ST in front of him, and normally 2 opponent's central defenders) but instead must, starting form the center, attack spaces opened by the wingers (who move, and bring their fullbacks away with them) on the left and right alternatively.

It's a subtle variant of AMC, far too sophisticated for top eleven. And makes no sense, because if it worked like it was stated, it would be impossible to use a "central winger" with two ordinary wingers in 4-2-3-1, which is the sole purpose the role exists for.

Right foward and left foward are AMR and AML they only play on the flanks not in the middle, pushing them foward is the only way to let them play as second strikers. In this pic you can see where the SS are

I definitely not agree that pushing them forward, they play as second striker. Second striker is striker who plays deeper than regular striker. And i havn't seen any second striker in this game.

So this picture show that aml is left wing midfielder, when you push him upwards its become left wing. It cant be that you push wing up and he suddenly becomes striker. But this is top eleven. Here is more cosmetic things than useful functions. There are no explanations, no roles, nothing. You just play this game blindly and try to figure something out... blindly.
