.....My champs league final opponent. Recieved yesterday, i kinda want to accept to see what his motives are but i suspect i would play a few friendlies against him lol.

Cant really see any other reason for adding me, he must want this trophy bad!!

yuppers! I leave friend requests for the start of the season and only if I am not in the same league. I dont like opponents to know my schedule or do the nice and frequently unwanted friendly.

Its funny because the person currently in 2nd place, behind me by 1 pt, is always trying to friend me. He can wait until next season. 2 games left and CL final tonight and I need some unwanted friendlies??? Dont think so....

This has happened to me before. I ended up accepting the request. He did the random friendlies thing to tire out my team and I was not present for the CL Final either. Best thing was I lost the 2 friendlies 4-1 and 3-0 against my team and then the CL Final came afterwards and my tired team won 2-0.

I always like to friend my CL opponents after the matches, good to follow their progress. Especially at the lower levels (I'm level 2 now), don't really play nor propose friendlies.

Do NOT accept, I made the mistake a couple of seasons ago with some Turkish guy and he played me for a fool and arranged 4 friendly matches 2 minutes before the final without me knowing...
I lost the final 3:1.... my players where so tired....

If you are going to be playing each other in the final, surely if he arranged friendlies before the final, his players would be just as tired as yours.

He played his subs, he had 22 players...
I didn't have that many subs unfortunately... :-(

Just won it, 3_2 aet! Super striker scarab ibrahimovic scoring 1 and setting up the other 2. Added the guy as a friend now, see what happens with that
