Won the whole comp...40 tokens today plus a 144 striker /amr penalty specialist and age 23 ...not too shabby!

Never managed to beat the guy in second in 5 attempts, but he missed a game yesterday so I was always ahead as long as I won against everyone else today. He needed to beat me by 6 goals to take it at the end and only won by 2. I didn't risk playing him back in case the game trolled me badly and I lost 5-0, so just took 2nd place today, and first overall!!!

The king of the mountain could not win for one reason only! One victory was needed! And he planned to play, but during the match the Champions League game was put up! This is very unfair, my opponent won is not right!

What a player I got, 144% 22 y.o. ST AML 1-on-1 specialist. Thanks for an amazing event, although it was very nervous in my case, winning my last must-win match 1 minute before deadline losing 2-0 lead in 5 minutes to eventually score 2 goals in last ten minutes :D

I updated the game days ago but the King of the Hill challenge never showed up

Top eleven keeps messing this up for me. I updated the game just after it was announced and the even never showed up. I could have used the extra tokens!!!!!!!!!

Lost the first place for 1 cup... Really cool event. I didn't play many games and that's the reason why I didn't win

They should have had prizes for the top 5 not just top 3. Most players in my league gave up today as they had no chance for the top 3 finish, would have made it more interesting with a bigger spread of token prizes.

Well done on your ET win bud. I Waited till the last few minutes to challenge the leader. We were 9/8 him, 8/8 yest and 9/8 him till the last minutes when I challenged him. He was a strong 127% Vs my 121% but I came through, winning 5-1!!!

Finally i achieved the 16th this morning but ive not logged in again lol so im not sure that ive an emblem awaiting :')

I agree that expanding the prizes beyond the top three would incentivize people a bit more.

Full disclosure: I won my KOTH group. That said my group seemed to be more even than most as I “only” had a 12% advantage over the second and third best teams in my group. Still I had close to a 30% advantage over the weakest members. All in all it meant I had 3 to 4 close to clear wins. Still I liked the event last year when I did not come close to winning the group and this year when I did win. I'd love if as the final prize you were offered three different players, of different positions, and were allowed to choose like in the previous International games.

But really I have small complaints. I have not played my new striker yet but I'm happy to have him.

I liked more a single round of 5 days really... too much short playing just 3 days, I dont felt it like a "hard" comp as thee first version wee had of this KoH.

Finished 3rd with 12 trophies, so 10 tokens, no emblem.

Last day of the event on a Saturday? Really? With league, champions and 2 associations matches?

Nope, i mean the qualifyers phase rewards. I just point this here because i usually dont check out the Events Page, but for Casualty went there and i found the claimable reward, 3T +boosters or so i got to finish inside the top 4 and reach the final phase.

As the KoH is spared in 2 events, thats why would be good check it out for more security.

I don't usually boast about my successes in top eleven but yesterday was really a great day. By friday evening I had a two trophies lead in the general leaderboard and a good lead on goal difference so I knew I would win. I had a very hard return match in CL quarter final against a 150% team (+14% than me) scheduled for saturday at 19. I had lost 1st leg away for 2-1. I thought perhaps the new player would which was coming would have a boost in first match, so I invested 2 tokens to reschedule the match at 23. I won KOTH and got the ST/AML. I was hoping sligthly better as it was the same quality as my main ST, but perhaps it was better this way because this led me to switch to a more offensive strategy, remove a central defender and play with 2 strikers. I had saved a handful of greens to train him with some reserves and bring his team play bonuses to 10%.

I won the 2nd leg at home 6-0 and straight to CL semi-finals. The new player made one goal and one assist, was not MOTM but was praised as "great signing" by the assistant manager. Must have been the largest victory I ever got vs a (now +12%) team. Great day.

Nope, no shirt in this event.

So yesterday Nordeus asked my second club with an ingame survey how I would rate the KotH event. It was actually pretty good. I especially liked the qualification phase and the final phase, so that in the second phase the competition was a bit rougher and the more inactive players were filtered.
Much better event than the other ones, where you play against 40% stronger cpu teams.

To be honest, this event is very good. It might be annoying when you face a stubborn oppo who does not want to give up despite being 25% weaker. He must have lost loads of tokens but could not prevent me from winning. The striker I got was a good surprise: 8 stars - 22 years old - AMC/S with 1-to-1 SA. And he scored 5 goals on his first league game! What would I want on top of that ?
