Haha, yeah - the @Dv8r trick! ... I don't mind playing 23:43CET, since I have a league game at 14:43CET and could use the time to "rest" a couple of players. But I was thinking, since he is +6hours ahead (timezone) it will be 05:43PTH for him, but If I change it to 18:30CET or say 20:3CET it will be 00:30PTH or 02:30PTH for him and perhaps he will be in bed at that time?

Or should I be and remain a sportsman and take it as it already is, perhaps he will not be preent at 05:43PTH after all? I still have a 1 - 3 advantage + playing at home...

Well If you think your team is good enough and your happy with the current kick-off time, then just leave it as it is.

I think I will leave it as it is. Could need that xtra hours of rest. Also, I might have the luck with him not being present since he could be at bed or at work at 05:43PTH (quite early kick off to be honest).

Anyway, this time I will start with 2x strikers instead of one from the first minute and try to get a goal or two and wrap it up. I think we are better, despite the improvements he did yesterday after the loss.

just advanced in CL with a 3-0 home after an embarrassing 1-1 away against a weak team... but I had to wait until min 64 for first goal. Well, an 0-0 would have won me the day, too, and my defense stood rock solid this game (MoM was my DC/DMC with corner kick who stopped a lot of attackers and gave 2 assists from corners)

    CL 1/16 round, 2nd leg - Perfect Tactics (4) 7-1 (1) TrWaRriOrr
Perfect Tactics: 56.5, 4-2-2-2 hex (butterfly 2nd half)
    TrWaRiOrr: 42.7, 3W-5-2 v

Perfect Tactics win 11-2 on aggregate

It was a win that was ruined by a silly red card. Now one of our best defenders is out for 2 matches. Nascimento put us 1-0 up from a corner and then Petersen destroying that left flank got a handful of goals. From a free kick, he scored with a wonderful strike and then Poncet showing that he's actually useful by setting up Suarez for 3-0. It was too easy as we were cruising and it was soon 4-0 after a Petersen long range strike found the back of the net. A goal from Petersen in the 2nd half completed his hat trick and made it 5-0. Minutes later it was 6-0 and yet again it was Peteresen who got the goal. But our opponents got one back through a penalty, however Van der Zande got himself sent off for spitting! It was a crazy turn of events and it means we are without our 7* defender for the whole of the next round. Petersen did restore our 6 goal lead at the end but it was the red card that ruined the day.

    Goals: Nascimento (8'), Petersen (12', 31', 63' HAT, 72' , 84'), Suarez (29'), Nafae (75' PEN)
    MOTM: Petersen
    Sent off: Van der Zande

Yeah your right about that red card... nothing worse than having an important squad player out through suspension in the knockout stages in the champions league. I'm playing some of my reserves tonight because I lead 6-1 and I don't have to worry about going out the competition even if I lose today because there is no chance we will get eliminated playing our subs/reserves that don't normally play when we are leading 6-1 from the first leg, so that means Zidane and Crawford will actually start the game as our strike force instead of Michu and Papaleo. Zidane earlier today in the match against Takis made is 200th appearance for July Fourth so tonight will be his 201st game.

I won my first CL mathc with 2-0 at home vs an equal opponent. He is playing 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond, what formation would you use for the second match? 3-1-4-2 would fit best to my team, but I think its a bit offensive for a away match vs an equal opponent?

going offensive probably isnt bad since he will need a 4-1 if you score a single goal. You could swap to 4-1-4-1 or 3-1-5-1 after scoring. Maybe 3-1-5-1 is the way to go since it will severely hamper his attack through the midfield. You need good DCs for this, though.
