A.C.Ianna always running behind the curtains hehe. Right now 3rd in my league, but i can still finish 2nd, and went out from cup at playoff coz of away goals rule.
Hope you doing good too, just saw you reached CL final. Congrats!

Yeah, we've been winning everything as we can (as expected) but its the change of cup format thats possibly seen me not win a few of those. Obviously we were not in favour of the format change but I think it suits the "majority" which is the middle of the road non-token players on older servers which means a fairer competition and more chance of winning something, we've just had to live with it really, just less games for us each season. Those matches in the cup were great opportunities to field our reserves against rubbish sides we would easily beat.

Right then, I finally get round to a Rhondda Rovers update. I last left you with a 3-0 win over Atletico Alberto.
Due to the 1st leg of the CL against some Thai team (keeps coming up with squares as the team name for me), Rhondda Rovers had to play the majority of the backup away against Marko FC. Needless to say, the backup were very impressive.

So the time came against a strong opponent in the CL semi final first leg. While I had the quality advantage, they could not be underestimated, especially as they have not lost a league game all season. Both manager's watched this game to try and get the upper hand to take back to the Rhondda Rovers Stadium. In the end, Rhondda Rovers managed to emerge with a very good win.

Yesterday saw Rhondda Rovers play an important league game against Muss FC. With AC LaPili suffering a shock loss at home to PSM KAKASSAR, a win would bring Rhondda Rovers ever so close to winning the league title for a second successive season. Despite both managers, as well as Atletico Alberto's support for Muss FC, watching the match, Muss FC were no match for Rhondda Rovers.

Today saw three season defining matches. The first match saw Atletico Alberto play AC LaPili in a match that could have huge implications for those between 2nd to 5th. Atletico Alberto had to win to keep the pressure on AC LaPili, while AC LaPili had to win to keep the pressure on Rhondda Rovers. In a very close match that saw both manager's watching and two supporters, one for each club (Rhondda Rovers being the Atletico Alberto supporter), Atletico Alberto was victorious.

This result meant that one point from the remaining four games will seal the title for Rhondda Rovers. With an all important 2nd leg of the CL later on, the backup had to be relied on to get the point that was necessary away to Gilstead FC. They did Rhondda Rovers proud.

RHONDDA ROVERS ARE THE LEAGUE WINNERS!!!

The final update saw Rhondda Rovers play the 2nd leg of the CL against the Thai team, with Rhondda Rovers having the upper hand with a 2-0 away victory from the 1st leg. Could the Thai team make a comeback against Rhondda Rovers, or was it too much to ask?
No special moments this time.

Final score - Rhondda Rovers 5-1 Thai Team
Rhondda Rovers, in a similar scenario to season 2, will play FC Rapid in the CL final. Both teams have met already in the CL Group stages, where Rhondda Rovers emerged victorious on both occasions. Rhondda Rovers secured their only CL trophy against FC Sergach in the final after playing them in the group stages. Could history repeat itself?
However, FC Rapid seemed to have improved considerably this time around and should not be underestimated.
Tomorrow sees Rhondda Rovers against FCbarca at home in the league. Rhondda Rovers will not just sit back and relax, as they will play a full strength squad to get some ratings up.
Good job bros'!
League, Day 23.
Forgot Name and Lazy To Check It FC 0 - 3 New Team
We were sleeping still when this started as we failed to avoid crushing the ringer on the wall at said time. On top of that, since we set up our reserve formation for the occasion, when at minute 8 Le Blanc got injured all our auto-subs were already on the field hence we had to play the whole match in ten people, lol at poor auto sub sistem. Yet we scored three times dominating kinda.
Scorers: P.Diamond, M.Stein, K.H.Schneider.
MoM: R.Flanagan (9), New Team.
CL, Semi-Finals, 2nd Leg

This time we didn't have any red cards advantaging us, and on top of that we had to rest Tom Becker due to a yellow card pending over his final. Yet we teached them a soccer lesson at our home not only overpowering them, but even using them as test subjects for our final against Catalunya FC (who won 0-3 suffering like hell but having 3 shoots count from their 7* players) since they use the same module. The match started quite balanced and for a couple of seconds we thought our narrow diamond wouldn't be a good choiche despite what we witnessed in the CL final phases until now, then around minute 10 the bar started pending in our favour and the pressure exponentially grew on them. After two failed attempts both coming from our defensive wingers, we set them on red arrows and it paid out when our star assister K.H.Schneider found F.Shirou on the side (DR) and served him the 1-0 ball (32'). Two corners followed straight with no result, but before half time Schneider jumped the defense for the third straight time and this one was the right one making it 2-0 before the first whistle (43'). In the second half we experimented setting on 4-5-1 V keeping more or less the same impact on the match. But when we realized our rested players weren't performing again and got Matsukase out for Diamond, we made bullseye as DIamond in 3 minutes from his entrance got 2 shoots deflected and right after offered Hutton a perfect pass which our Captain skyrocketed in the net (65'). With Stein on the left (AML) and Derrick playing OOP on the right (AMR) we got in another Striker for J.Ross (M.Lenders) getting on 4-2-2-2. Diamond reserved a spot for the final serving a second assist to Hutton who again tossed it in (77') proving his almost complete recovery and J.Romer found again the overlapping Shirou who scored his second goal and settled the final score (83').
Scorers: F.Shirou (2), O.Hutton (2), K.H.Schneider.
MoM: R.Flanagan (8), New Team.
New Teams accesses the final on 8-0 aggregate.
-With 2 MoM in a single day, Flanagan proved to have been the right choiche for Coach Mad who invested on the young defender since Season 2.
-Matsukase Tenma and Julian Ross seems to be still tired and needing a rest, their 6 scoring didn't satisfy Coach Mad at all who will ponder about resting them if tomorrow's match will prove the same again.
-After a double check, we can say that FC Norrkoping was UNBEATEN untill the semi finals against us. In the League they are firmly leading with 22W 1D 0L.
-The final will see New Team (49,4) facing Catalunya FC (47,4) in one hell of a last match. They won 0-3 but we followed the match and can say it wasn't properly earned. Overplayed by the opponent despite his lower Q (38), they found 3 goals from 3 random shoots. Let's hope they won't wake up just in the final.
Extraterestrii are Champions of the League with 4 days before league final:P
That was the hardest championship so far
9 points diference from 2 nd place from the 11th place
Wednesday. Day 25.
LEAGUE: Match 23. MINH CHI (73.0) v LONDON CITY (74.5)
Result: MINH CHI 1-0 LONDON
Goals: Ribeiro 42
M.o.M: Ivaylo Marinov (Minh)
Disappointing result for City. A win would have put us top, but this was always going to be a hard match, against the team in 3rd. The only goal of the game came just before halftime when Tiago dos Santos Ribeiro volleyed the ball past Dean Woodhouse, to secure the points for Minh, and tighten things up between the top three. We also lost Stig Andersson for the rest of the season, through a late injury.
OTHER LEAGUE RESULTS:
Danis 4-1 Alcudia, Lalas 0-1 Yakuza, Real 1-1 Shileno, Tongfang 2-1 Kukula, Olympiakos 0-2 Jeleznik, Phetchana 3-3 Legends.
CHAMPS LEAGUE. Semi-Final, 2nd Leg. LONDON CITY (74.5) v YIGIDO 85 (71.5)
Result: LONDON 2-1 YIGIDO (agg: 2-2)
Goals: Olsen 19, Moore 50, Robins 62
M.o.M: Percy Robins
Our second disappointment of the day, saw us eliminated from the CL, on the away goals rule. Trailing 0-1 from the first leg, we soon got into our rhythm and Marius Olsen put us ahead with a rasping shot past the helpless 'keeper. We held the lead until Laurence Moore scored from out of the blue for our visitors. With their away goal, we now needed to score at least two more goals. Percy Robins managed to get one of them to level the tie on aggregate, but we just couldn't find the net again, so we are out. DC, Ben Cole also suffered a season ending injury.
TEAM TALK:
It was a day of ups and downs for us. First we watched as top team Alcudia, surprisingly lost heavily at the 13th ranked team. This opened the door for us to go top with a win in Vietnam. But that didn't materialise. Then tonight, we saw Alcudia eliminated from the CL, giving us a great chance of winning the trophy. Alas, we succumbed to a lesser quality team ourselves, and so the two weakest semi-finalists will play in the final.
Tomorrow we play Olympiakos in the league and hope to return to winning ways. But we still need Alcudia to lose again to give us a chance.
CL semi
BEAR FC 3-2 Lions FC win in Penalties 3-1
another thrilling match after wining in penalty shootouts in the quarter finals after both match finished 2-3 & 3-2, Bears FC fans thought the drama is over.. but the semi final had promised another thrilling tie that ended in penalties too, amazingly after Bears Fc had lost 2-0 lead to end up losing 2-3 at first match 2 days ago, the inverse scenario happened today, and Bears FC was able to come back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 and go to penalties.. which they win at the end 3-1 without even the need of taking the last 2 penalties
the Bears FC run was phenomenal, having to beat stronger sides with scouts at every single round, now they had to face the Turkish side Ali fc who had a very easy run in contrast ... ironically the opponent in final is easier than all teams that Bears FC played in the last 3 rounds !! that is 5th CL final in a row
The same! http://cdn.ttgtmedia.com/ITKE/upload...-thumbs-up.jpg
Seems that you had it "quite easy" against IFK Norrköping, despite the quality. It will be nice to play the CL finals, hopefully win it as well. Good luck on friday!
Looking forward to "smash" you on Saturday
