Checking back the results, we won 0-7 against today's opponents playing away, same modules, and same Q of the opponent, while our quality this time was 4 points higher. Maybe it was due to him being 3rd place atm, hence a engine attempt to reopen the league. Tomorrow we will play the 4th, which we beat 8-0 in the first league's fixture. We ll see what engine reserves for us. On a side note, as soon as i reached 15 reds with a friendly Ross injured 6 days in 2 bars lesser training. Good signs all over.
On another note, gl joe!
Ahh... The sweet taste of victory and revenge !!
As you can see, we started of pretty bad, conceded a goal and missed a opportunity (penalty kick). The 3N-2W-2n-2W-1 wasn't proved as good as we thought in the 1th half, since he kept pushing and pushing forward, and we felt back and defending istead of attacking (counter). Then in the 2nd we switched to our traditional 4-2N-2W-2 and the game completetly changed. We started create more and more and had more possesion. Stevan Jovetić who substited Darijo Srna got us a equlizer, but it was Edin Džeko who created and the man who stood behind all of our goals and opportunites (scored directly and indirectly). Sušić and Olić had two goal scoring opportunities but their GK (Reina) made two good saves. Wednesdays return will be a nailbiter!
Matchreport later on this evening, not home at the moment. :)

Breaking News - Youth Players Arrive...
Our 2 youth players came through the system this morning and this time the 4* token player was a 4*102 GK for 21T, If this was the case 12 days ago when my last youth players were available I may of signed the player and let my 34 year old reserve keeper leave early, but its a bit too late in the season (Just past half-way) and its not urgent to sign a GK with Seaman currently 24 y.o. 6*111 rated and any new GK is likely to be a replacement for Seaman with Seaman dropping to the #2 GK so signing a youth GK is pointless anyways.
The 2* player is a very slow trainer 15/30/45 at best and is 2*92 MC and I cannot train the player this time to get a few extra skill points to make him 93 quality to sell on to make him more attractive to buy on the market. He has immediately been transfer listed for $48M and some L15 team can pick him up a few tokens.
WTF? Did he PT his players, 10min after the game or is this a bug? :p .... It seems to be "right" when I check his team "manually".

Oh... here we go... the act of desperation has kicked in because he LOST, If he was going to do this to his players he should of done this BEFORE the game today and not AFTER... I can't see him turning over a 3-1 loss away from home now that his team in terms of stars is roughly equal to you now. Looks like he has spent 1K-2K T on Personal Trainer.
LEAGUE ROUND 14
echipa de shoc 0-3 July Fourth
echipa de shoc 99.3 4-1-2-3 - July Fourth 112.0 3N-4-1-2 1st half, 4-3W-1-2 2nd half.
An important win for July Fourth today... possibly helped by their misconduct from both their MC's in this game... It took 20 minutes or so for July Fourth to take control of the game as the home side looked the most likely team to score but as Papaleo and Michu were concerned they were getting all the chances on goal from Kareski who seems to be quite creative as a player and L.McNamara is getting back towards his best form since his injury lay-off... The break through came on 38 minutes when Michu broke clear and beat the keeper after he was not able to keep it out, Then in the second half, BOTH of the home teams MC's were both booked giving us free-kicks which we wasted with having no designated free-kick taker on the field at this stage. I brought Zidane on for Michu and immediately he made an impact in his 199th game for July Fourth with a pass through to Papaleo to bury it. The home team became frustrated as Zidane came through and Hemsley tactically brought him down and was sent off for a second bookable offence. Then with the home side down to 10 men July Fourth were getting more space Zidane tried to get behind the defence but was tackled and L.McNamara towards the end of the game was brought down in the area and McGreevy then saw his second yellow and the home side were down to 9 men and Papaleo made no mistake putting away the penalty for the brace.
Goals: Michu (38), Papaleo (67,83 PEN) MOTM: Michu. S/O: Hemsley (74) McGreevy (83)
We now lead the league by 7 points after Mehmet won earlier but once again we wait on the Takis result as they face Chelsea in about an hours time and a win for Takis will close the gap back to 5 points once again before tomorrows big game in the league... July Fourth vs Takis.
I dont think he s a nub either way. Adding them or pt his players immediatly after the loss is pointless and has no whatsoever reason behind, unless it was normal power training. Had it been personal trainer why do it immediatly when he coulda have waited until 10 minutes before second leg and surely surprise Joe out of the blue.
Breaking News - Result Just In...
Takis 2-2 Chelsea. Takis draw at home from being in trouble being 2-0 down with only 10 men but this is a result that see's them fall further behind us in the title race, July Fourth are now 7 points ahead of BOTH Takis and Mehmet.
Table:
July Fourth 10-4-0 +26 34
Takis 8-3-3 +13 27
Mehmet 9-0-5 +5 27
dersim 8-1-5 +4 25
Title Odds: July Fourth 1/16, Takis 12/1, Mehmet 25/1, dersim 50/1, Any Other Team 100/1.
July Fourth go into tomorrows big game at home against Takis in what is considered now a comfortable position in the league table with still 12 games to play. A July Fourth win tomorrow and the bookies will be suspending betting on the league winner in our league this season, However a Takis win will blow it open again but July Fourth will still be odds-on favourites to win the league but it will be tough to see out the remainder of the league season and a draw could allow Mehmet and dersim to get a little closer to us while maintaining status quo with Takis in terms of how many points ahead of them we are.
July Fourth vs Takis FC Kicks-Off at 15.44 UTC+1 (UK Time tomorrow)
We won with 3-2 today :D from 3-0 to 3-2, we almost made an other draw.
hmm, my league gets interesting this very moment: the guy with 12-1-0 stats plays an underdog, but he has an illegal formation (3 wing players on both sides. Atm its halftime and its 1-0 for the underdog. If he loses and I win my match vs another underdog, there are 3 teams seperated by 2 points, with me on 3rd position.
And tomorrow I play vs #2, fun times :D
edit:
and now its 10man illegal vs 11man, he got 2 yellows in '63 and '65 :D
edit2:
what a crazy match: illegal formation guy made 2 goals in '75 and '78 (injured player + freekick), but the other guy also scored in '83. No more goals till the end, its a draw.
I won 4-2 today and my league became a 4 man race that can give me a huge advantage in the next 4 matches. 3 of my 4 next matches are against the teams in 2nd, 3rd and 4th places.
tomorrow I face the team in the 4th place (best quality in league) without my best defender (5 MOM in 20 matches + 5 goals).
http://i40.tinypic.com/2k0uj8.png
also won my first CL quarter final leg 3-1 away so pretty sure I'll beat him at home too.
Let me guess, FC Haudaneben is Austrian?^^
(Haudaneben is Austrian slang meaning something like "missthe(ball)"
Must be Bavarian, its kinda the same like Austria :D
(In before Bavarian ****storm: ofc I only meant language-wise^^)
I actually don't know what he has done. He could have been used the pers.trainer or had unsigned SKP from earlier powertraining. But I remember that all of his players were around Q50-51 before the kick off, especially the ones that are shown as a 8* right now. And all of them are +23yrs old. Also, His ST (Harding) that are shown as a 7* before the kick off and then as a 8* is 25yrs old, so I doubt that he powertrained him? This means that he used the "personal trainer". Also, D.Agger is show as Q54 now, so he is probably underdoing some PT as we speak?
But then again, if he had unsigned SKP - the engine would recognize them right, despite for being a 7* and not a 8*? But at the same time, he knew that I had a "better" team than him before the kick-off, so why not use & assign the SKP?
Anyway, seems that this result was something that he didn't expect ..... :D
Won 5-0 today against the 7th of the league. Still leader, best attack, best defense, 5pts ahead the 2nd and 7pts ahead the 3rd.
Todays league game was an easy 4-0, tomorrow is going to be the decisive game in the CL best 16 (1-1 in away game against a weak team, horrible luck, I really have to win this now, going narrow diamond against 4-4-2 classic)
no further injuries
edit: just looked up tomorrows league game, opponent is playing ultra-defensive 5-2dmc-2w-1, with his striker only being 2 stars since his main striker is suspended. I guess Im going to play some kind of 3n-5-2, since I only have 2 strikers myself...
edit2: place 3 and 4 drew, falling further back... but league seems to be almost in the bag anyway with an 8 points lead on 2 and no team of dangerous quality.
Monday. Day 16.
LEAGUE: Match 14. LONDON CITY (73.3) v PHETCHANA FC (59.6)
Result: LONDON 3-0 PHETCHANA
Goals: Scully 39, Andersson 43, Duggan 70
M.o.M: Percy Robins
Let's just say that this was a frustrating win, against the bottom team in our league. We were so much on top throughout, but it took us until almost halftime to get in front. Eventually, Jon Scully put home a header from a corner by Andreas Costa. Stig Andersson quickly followed up with our second, direct from a free kick. After the break, it was more of the same frustration, until Phetchana's, Ryan Davie was red carded for his second bookable offence and within a minute, Terry Duggan managed to work his way through the visiting defence to finish the scoring.
OTHER LEAGUE RESULTS:
Legends 3-4 Shileno, Tongfang 1-3 Lalas, Minh 4-1 Yakuza, Jeleznik 0-3 Kukula, Real 3-0 Danis, Olmpiakos 0-4 Alcudia.
TEAM TALK.
Our league is still so tight, with City equal top with minh, and Alcudia just a point behind. When our match kicked off, we were actually 3rd, as Alcudia had won their early match and had gone top by 2 points. It was then a surprise to me that during our match, that the manager of Alcudia not only came to watch the game, but he even SUPPORTED my team.
Tomorrow we play away in Georgia (first visit there), against Kukula FC, who are currently 7th. Our CL game tomorrow night will be a tense affair, with so little in quality between our two teams. We do have the slight advantage of going into the game with a 1-0 lead, and an important away goal.
The guy who knocked me in the cup gets owned 1-3 at home. Serves him right for being so damn lucky this whole competition! I don't feel sorry for him. I swear if he wins the 2nd leg 3-0.. lol
Lol... That made me look at the cup draw with teams that are remaining in the competition, there is a team with 7*/8* players that is 2nd in LEVEL 20 with a quality of 116.8 still in the cup, how is a team of L18 and 112.2 quality supposed to compete against that??? red star (the L19 team that knocked us out in the preliminary round) survived until the last 16.
Been a little while since my last update, but like the others, I don't really have the time to go into full detail.
As a whole, my team have gone into a bit of a scoring habit the last couple of games, scoring 13 in 3 and conceding the 1 goal.
First up was the League game yesterday away to Andcis FC, who started the season strongly, but have started to slide away recently. This result will not have helped them:
Attachment 6928
While the result was emphatic, it was very disappointing to concede a goal against a 2* ST that somehow got clear of a 4 man defence that consisted of a 5*, two 6* and a 7* defence. Still, it was only the 6th goal conceded this season and didn't matter in the end.
The next match a couple of hours later on Sunday was away against Blood Elf United in the CL. There is a good quality gap between us (Q10 in my favour), so was hoping for a good result to take back home. However, I didn't expect this:
Attachment 6929
Bar an absolute disaster at home in the 2nd leg, I should be through comfortably.
The final update for today is an away League game against PSM KAKASSAR who I beat 3-0 at home at the beginning of the season. The reverse fixture was a better result, but also gave me my first injury for some time:
Attachment 6930
Gussago was out for 4 days, but a little bit of healing has lowered it to a day, so should be back for tomorrow's games.
Tomorrow sees me at home for both games, the first of which is a very important League game against AC LaPili, who are my cloest rival in the League (even if they are 7 points behind at the moment). After a very close 3-2 victory for me (which could have been a draw after their striker missed a one on one chance in the final moment of that game) in the first game, I will be putting out my strongest available team for this, but only because my second game is pretty much in the bag already (the 2nd leg match at home against Blood Elf United in the CL, of which I already hold a 5-0 away advantage over).
End of update.
Balkan Boyz - Matchday 16 (Sz.5 - lvl5)

HEADLINE: T11 CUP Quarter-finals - Orchard Utd 1 - 3 Balkan Boyz, Manager -Ljepoje- hails historic win!
CUP: Orchard Utd (Q51) Formation: 4-2N-2W-2 >> 1 - 3 << Balkan Boyz (Q50,5) Formation: 3N-2W-2N-2W-1/4-2N-2W-2
SCORERS: K.Harding (21min), S.Jovetić (57min.ass:E.Džeko), E.Džeko (64min) and (H.Salihamidžić.ass:E.Džeko)
SUBS: D.Srna < > S.Jovetić A.Ljajić < > S.Sušić
MOTM: Edin Džeko (rate:9)
The Balkan Boyz claimed a stunning 1 - 3 win and overcame their biggest opponent, Orchard Utd in the 1th leg of the T11 CUP Quarter-finals at "YNWA" stadium this Monday afternoon. The win was the Balkan Boyz first in the two meetings between the two sides, with the hosts leading throughout before putting the foot down to finish with a flourish 3 goal show and therefore keeping their semi-finals hopes alive. “We all knew that this would be a tough game, perhaps the toughest game as far as having to face Orchard Utd in the quarter-finals since they are a highly respectable opponent. This is probably one of the most important win in the Balkan Boyz T11 CUP history,” Manager -Ljepoje- said during a press conference this evening.
But it was Orchard Utd who went into halftime with a 1 - 0 lead before Stevan Jovetić equalized for the Balkan Boyz in the 57th minute. A couple of minutes later, Edin Džeko managed to put The Balkan Boyz ahead after a superb free-kick before assisting Hasan Salihamidžić to his 1 - 3 goal. Balkan Boyz had a great opportunity to equalize in the 39th minute to 1 - 1 when they were awarded a penalty kick, but GK Reina saved Salihamidžić's shoot. The home team were slightly better in the 1th half, as they managed to put The Balkan Boyz under considerable pressure. But an early tactical change and a substitution in the 2nd half changed the game completely, and The Balkan Boyz overtook the game more and more, creating goal-scoring opportunities that finally paid off.
Manager -Ljepoje- seemed satisfied with the performance of his team and in a short post-game interview he said,"Overall, I am quite satisfied with the way we played and won this important game. We played offensively attractive football and scored 3 goals, despite the flat performance the first 45 minutes. All of our players performed exceptionally well, both offensivly and defensivly. And our GK Asmir Begović did a splendid job and made two grat saves as they pushed forward the last quarter. I think we should be satisfied with what we accomplished, as a 1 - 3 result is more then a good result and I hope we can repeat the same game and performance as we did tonight on Wednesdays return.".
In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the English team "London Hotspur" with 0 - 6 after goals by Edin Džeko (x1), Stevan Jovetić (x2), Lorik Cana (x1) and Mario Mandžukić (x2). A game in which Stevan Jovetić was declared as MoM (rate:9).The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 39 points and are now 4points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (34points) who managed to draw against "Scally United FC" (0-0) this evening. FC Kula hangs on at a 3rd place (33points) and Vanspor FC at a 4th place (26points). Balkan Boyz will play their rivals from Sarajevo tomorrow, "FC Kula" at home, the kickoff is set at 14:45CET. Later on that evening, Balkan Boyz are set to play the 2nd leg in the CL final-eight against the English team "AFC Powerlifting" at home. A game which has no big impact since The Balkan Boyz took a comfortably 1 - 8 win in the 1th leg and therefore secured a quarter-final spot. The kickoff is set at 20:36CET.
Over&Out!
Yeah... It's starting to look that way yes, we play Takis tomorrow and if we beat them that will put them out of it I would feel but yeah I think the quality difference and having six 7* players and a 9* player is starting to show why we are winning the league, take away those 7 higher quality players I hold then my team would be more comparable to Takis and Mehmet in terms of team quality and I would still be a good bet to win the league without those players just because of me being by far the most active manager in the league. I've had 60 greens saved up this afternoon and now I'm doing a bit of mini PT with it, I've brought Ramirez,Hogan and O'Sullivan all to 7*119 and will also bring Miku upto 9*127 before tomorrows game against Takis. I've played less friendlies this season because of the higher number of injuries I've had this season so far.
I experienced the same thing (or suffering) on lvl 3 and 4, having FC Kula and another two teams behind my back. Also, the CL was a "pain in the a**" last season since we faced the "best", while our final oppostion (FC Kula) faced much weaker opposition.
A crucial and perhaps a thing that could determine the outcome in the league are the goal difference. Every goal counts. Keep that in mind! :)
Our 2nd loss for the season (both in league).... We started of with the traditionally 4-2N-2W-2 but nothing, instead we conceded a goal. Then the last 35minutes, I replaced Srna (DR/DMR) with Ljajić (MC) and Jovetić (ST) with Mandžukić (ST), playing a 3W-3N-2W-2 formation to put pressure, but nothing. Possesion: 65% vs 35% (he wasn't present)... Normally I beat him 3 of 4 times (same formation, same line-up), but today wasn't that day.
This makes it: 1.Balkan Boyz 39p, 2.FC Kula 36p and 3.Iztik Yan at 34p (with one game less played).... fu*ky fu*ky league for a fu*ky fu*ky league trophy.. Seems that we have to "work" harder to get a league trophy, then a CL or CUP trophy... And the funny thing is that everytime we seem to get a +4 point or +6point gap in the league, we lose the next game and the sh*t race starts all over game, hunt or be hunted....
http://s18.postimg.org/62r0za8jd/lol.png
Game engine trolls strike again... sometimes it seems like the NGE doesn't like to give many of us an easy ride towards the league title... What with it seems like theres only 3 good teams in your league, your going to have to work right to the end of the season to wrap it up. I hope nothing like this occurs in my game against Takis today or it blows our league open again...
Yeah, it seems so. I don't mind losing a game or two, but it's they "way" you lose it. Seems that the Q-advantage, possesion or you being present aren't taken into calculation, since the result are just "random". But the funny part is that since he left his team on autopilot, he has been doing well. Winning all of the games and placed himself from a 7th place to a 2nd...
Same sh*t happend to Iztik Yan yesterday, but at least they got a draw (0-0) and 1p.

LEAGUE ROUND 15 PREVIEW
July Fourth vs Takis FC
July Fourth 112.2 - Takis FC 108.0
A crucial game for both teams in the league at this stage of the season and July Fourth go into this game with a 7 point advantage over Takis so our opponents will most likely will want to attack us to try and get the much needed win to keep them in the title race, our lead in the league was cut to 4 points this morning after Mehmet won 1-0 earlier so a win for Takis would mean I would still lead the league by 4 points with Takis drawing level with Mehmet in the table and both teams making up 3 points of ground each and keep the league interesting, a draw will mean July Fourth will remain 7 ahead of our rivals Takis but Mehmet will of closed our lead to 5 points, a win for July Fourth today will mean we will stay 7 points ahead of Mehmet and Takis will be 10 points adrift and would pretty much would have no chance of catching us up for the title, so the game is more important for Takis to get a win here than it is for us who look in a comfortable position regardless.
I mentioned earlier that Takis are semi-power trainers of a few of their top players and the 3 players I mentioned earlier in the season, Danny Jarrett, Pavel Nikulin and Matija Jovanovic have all been improved to 6*112 each since we last played Takis and also one of their strikers have reached 6* as well now and they have bought 2 new 19 year old 5* players recently, not that we are concerned. They usually like to switch between 4-4-2 and 3-5-2 flat depending on the situation, they have defender Gokhan Cubukcu suspended, this maybe key as he performed well in the first game between us at Takis which we won 1-0 with a Miku goal in the 1st minute of the game. Takis may look to try and dominate the midfield area.
July Fourth have nobody suspended for this game and we have Hardy and Petersen out Injured and Norris is doubtful through a low fitness level since he only recovered from his injury this morning.
Odds: July Fourth 1/2, Draw 5/2, Takis 5/1
First Goalscorer:
Papaleo 7/2
Mensah 9/2
Michu 5/1
Cardei 11/2
Miku 6/1
SNEIJDER 15/2
Cristoffer 15/2
Prediction: July Fourth 2-2 Takis... 16/1
Goal-line Under/Over 2.5: U 10/11, O 10/11
Both Teams To Score: Yes 8/11, No 11/10
It's funny what happens when you stop trying or give up hope with your team and place it on auto-pilot, You may remember Adel's team "FC Global Ahly" he quit the game and basically in level 14 (2 seasons ago) his team won the league very easily without him even bothering to control his team, he left the game because of the cup format change. I think he was close to a 26-0-0 in L14!!! not sure if he got it or not because eventually he removed me from his friends list when he walked away from the game.
Haha, yeah! I did that last season, went from 4th place to 2nd and ended just 3points behind the league winner. But I don't know, seems that the league is just "random", while the games in the CL and CUP are more realistic and the competition is "fair and equal" since everybody are pretty active and actually gives a rat's ass about for being present.
I'm seriously considering to "tank" and leave my team on autopilot next season if we "fail" to win the league this season, and only take part in the CL and CUP. Why even bother when the inactive/abandoned teams are doing fine or better then you?
Yeah, I remember him, but I didn't know him that quite well. And I don't know why he left or quitted the game since I wasn't present at the time he was. But I think some of you mentioned earlier that it was because of the CUP format and some issues with the dev's. But is he still active, or did he erase/delete the account?
Btw, good luck against Takis! Hopefully you don't get kicked in the a** as I did against FC Kula. :)
Aha, okey. I mostly "knew" him as the autor of the "counterformation" thread and his contributions, not as a person or member on the forum.
That could be the case as well. Perhaps he created a new account and ended up at the new servers, facing "equal" opposition as myself. Also, many of the active users don't know about the T11 forum or website. I discovered it occasily when I was playing at lvl 3 :D
