He is 21 years old this season so he is in the last year of the U21 bracket. So I've decided to go all the way from 6*112 right to 8*120. He trains like 30/60/90. but will probably drop towards 20/40/60 @ 7*, depending on how far those tokens/greens go, I may get him to 7*118 and let natural growth take him to 8* by end of this season.
Performances changes. My worst 7* MC and AML (avg 5 and 4,5 ratings last season) both got an 8 today. Untill now 100% of the scouts/players i had performing horribly in first season came back with an 8-9 rating avg the next one. Price is at his 3rd season so this doesnt apply, and in facts he keeps scoring 5 -.- fail GK

Cup first leg ended in a boring 0-0 draw against a weaker opponent. His formation countered mine perfectly and I've resorted to asking for help in the Formations forum...
Sunday. Day 1.
CUP. Preliminary Round. 1st Leg. EREMA FC (70.5) v LONDON CITY (69.9)
Result: EREMA 1-0 LONDON
Goals: Rinaldi 19
M.o.M: Juan Contreras (Erema)
Mixed feelings after our opening game. After the euphoria of winning the league, we narrowly lost to a slightly better team who is level 12. Roberto Rinaldi scored the only goal midway through the first half, after previously missing a penalty on 11 minutes. We hung on, and have given ourselves a reasonable chance for tomorrow's second leg.
TEAM TALK.
New DL/DC, Fabio Haller, made his debut for us this afternoon and had a reasonable game, despite receiving a yellow card. Patrick Dijon has left the club after Haller's arrival.
Results are slowly getting in at the New Team's Lab:

Our 24 YO Scout MC proved to be weirdly fast into reaching his 7*. The Q 47,8 is training well too and if we ll spare greens from our training plan he'll be next to reach the 7th star (currently missing 12 sps).

MOTM: Ognjen Vranješ (rate:8)
19,000 spectators saw Balkan Boyz took their first win of the season during Monday's meet againt FCZ from Switzerland in the 1th leg of the CUP preliminary round. The guest from Switzerland managed to score the first goal and took an early lead in the 21min, but Balkan Boyz responded and Safet Sušić got the home team a equalizer before the half time. The young defender Ognjen Vranješ extended the lead to 2 - 1 with a header in the 2nd half. Balkan Boyz had a couple of goal opportunities to extend their lead, but the guest defended themselves well.
Manager -Ljepoje- didn't seem too pleased with the result but admitted that a win is better than a draw, or in worst case a loss,”We didn't play at out best and some of the players didn't play at their level. This could be of the fact that we had a couple of PT-sessions before the game and of course the fact that it´s the first game of the season. But we have a descent result and I think we can win the return tomorrow as well. We just need to play our game and learn to take each day and game at the time. We need to stay sharp and just focus, focus and focus!".
Over&Out! :cool:
I went through all teams in Cup to look for really good players, for who I could make a offer. Not a single 19yo with SA i wanted^^ (I wasnt expecting to find a 18yo on day1 ;) )
Hah, I knew this would be entertaining .... The guy who bought him is the same guy I eliminated in the CUP last season. ;)

Here's a little snippet of my power training progress.
The screenshot was taken just after a hard cardio session and this is their gains

Yeah, I calculated and he was 13SKP from a 6*... There is another one on the list, a 26yr old ST with SA (one-on-one), only 3SKP from a 6*.. The auction ends in 1hour and 22min...Don´t know if I´m gonna try and go for him... He got a 7 in his last game, could be good as a sub :D
Sevela now 7*
We now start PTing our 18 year old. Gains on hard practice match

Nah this is Ross Kai V2. Old Ross made a great exploit last season and left this one being 27 yo. From his 2,3 m value we got a nice 4,5 income. Basically after purchasing 2 scouts (5 m x2) and one youngster (6,5m) we have more money then when we started season (25 before, 26 now) just by selling 2 players while taking 3.
something weird happened in the auctions, i bid for a player, then an other user called Mali bid, the 1st round ended with only me and him , but in the second round, an other user called Ammar made a bid, he wasn't there at the 1st round !!!!!
and the funniest of all, he actually won the bid .
Looks like my tokens will be returned to me from Negotiations, both offers I made have less than 8 hours on the clock and the offers have not been declined or accepted or counter offered by set price. Oh well, No harm done by making an offer.
Yeah I was a bit like that and you think, It's mad to sell 5* players compared to most teams I look at and they have a mix of 4* or 5* players lol. At one point I can remember I had 17 players that were all at least 6* in the squad out of 20 players and the 3 other players were 5* close to 6*. I even once sold a 6* player which is unthinkable by most managers in this game.
5* players are basically reserves for me. since my main squad these days are 6*,7* with the odd special higher than 7* players I've had. No real point having loads of 6* players to sit on the bench, thats just a waste, even for the most heaviest token buyers around. So for token buyers 5* players on the bench are ideal. fair enough if those bench warmers were bought at 5* at the beginning of the season and develop to 6* during the season like our Petersen will do this season, thats different. Just be a waste to buy a 50T scout just to sit on the bench or PT a player that sit on the bench, thats just a waste and a good example of that at my team was Pepp Crawford.
Today I put in a bid for a 21yo GK, in the negotiations. He is valued at 28.7M. I offered 31M plus 4 tokens. I have now been notified that the "selling" club, will do a deal for 10 tokens and 41M. Don't think I'll bother.
Lukas Sevela is now called Iam Pistov (Russian)
Andy Nicol is now called Jack Goff (English)
Both are now 7*, along with Van der Zande.
Vittalone -> 4SP from 7*
Nascimento -> 10SP from 7*
Warmwater -> 4SP from 7*
De Mafia -> 12SP from 7*
All are relatively fast trainers. I have used up about 450 green packs so far (including the new roles) and we have 175 left which should see us get 7 players on 7*, plus Petersen to also get 7* a few days.
