This is our biggest win of the season and it was always going to be one way traffic as our opponents were abandoned. In the 8th minute of the game Hechalar was shown a straight red card for a badly timed tackle and Petersen made the most out of the free kick like he has done over many seasons. It was soon 2-0 when Blomqvist's pass found Silly who steered the ball past the goalkeeper for his 2nd goal in 2 games, quite a promising future for the youngster. Nascimento made it 3-0 from a 1 v 1 position before setting up Hardy for his first goal of the season. Nacsimento was playing very well and he added another in the 2nd half from long range. Petersen got his 2nd goal from a free kick for 6-0 and then a late Vittalone goal from a corner gave us a huge win taking us up into first place.
Goals: Petersen (8', 57'), Silly (19'), Nascimento (23', 50'), Hardy (28'), Vittalone (82')

Yeah I got young player 4*102 21T but he played MR/DMR and I didn't need that, I wanted a DEFENDER or a MC more than anything else, most of the players in the TM are 25+ no youngsters except for 1 young player that had a low market value so he is a crap trainer.Quote:

Been a busy 24 hours or so for Rhondda Rovers. Here are the highlights since the second leg of the preliminary cup game that I won 6-2 on aggregate.
Won 3-0 away in my first league game against PSM KAKASSAR with Arianto (2) and Ha (1, pen) the scorers. My youth ML got injured in his first appearance, so happy days, will be hoping to flog him soon.
Drew 0-0 in the CL against Chelskicherries despite being all over them. Gussago got injured but was instantly healed afterwards.
Won 3-2 away in a hard fought game against AC LaPili with Sutcu (1) and Steigelmann (2) the scorers, but was very close to conceding a late equaliser as they were one on one with my keeper. Thankfully he shot wide.
Steigelmann has gone drastically downhill for some bizarre reason, mainly getting 5's when he was getting 7's and 8's before. Even with two goals today, he only got a 6.
Ormeno has been flagged due to general crapness and that a 22yo Q54 MR with Dribbler SA has appeared on my scout list. Will await the end of my negotiations before signing him up tonight.

And once again, we get "lucky" :rolleyes:..... Was up against this Russian guy "Malkanowich", but I bet him (like all others).... The TM was jacked with 5* (around 100-150players) and there was 3x18yr olds, but in position that we already have or need.
Anyway, since we already have 3x GK (Handanovic:6/7*, Pletikosa6* and now Begovic5/6*), I will just focus and PT Begović for the entire season and leave Handanović in the goal and Pletikosa as a backup. My goal is to PT Begović to 8*. This way, I will have Begović,Jovetić,Vranješ, Cana,Lulić, and Džeko as 8* this season and probably next season as well since I will NOT PT my currently 6* and 7* (rather buy a scout or two, near -9).
This is also our last buy for this season. We have now 14,8M on the account and that will do just fine for all the expenses + stadium upgrade. Have 200T + 200 green boosters on the account (but will probably need more boosters). :rolleyes:

This was a game we had to win to avoid getting an upset in this tie. We played well for the whole game and defended when we needed to. Our opponents had a brick wall of 5 defenders and we were struggling to break them down as 2 of our goals came from corners. We took the lead through that man again.. Gaylord Silly silencing his critics with his 3rd consecutive goal. We couldn't find a way through and it looked like it was going to stay 1-0 but 2 quick goals in 3 minutes killed off the game and sends us into the 2nd leg in a very comfortable position. Vittalone scored from a corner and Nascimento rounded it off with a solo effort.

I see, your in a tight spot! It's almost the same on the new servers, the only players you can get and that are good 5* are the server generated players. Then we have the players that people want's to get rid off, but that nobody more or less want's (if it isn't a manager with a low Q-team).
But it's kinda strange that there aren't any server generated 5* players on your server. This is the 4th time in a row they pop-up on my server. Maybe it's because the "demands" are higher and more and more managers are buying Tokens then before (or on the old servers). I also see more and more managers willing to enter bid wars then last season. Then mostly of the managers at my server are at their mid-age (+30yr).
I seriously hope you find something good, wouldn't be fair against you and all the more experienced players. :confused:

A last post before I head off :D.... Just watched D.S game in the CUP and I was a little bit surprised that he left out two of his best strikers (Bale and Zuber). He got a 3-3 draw, but a win is way better to prefer.
Also, early on today he lost a league game against Burkan FC with 1 - 0.

Let me tell you, It's like hell trying to PT a player from 8* to 9* you need something like 4 greens for every skill point, A 8* player would only get 15-20 skill points through natural growth in a season and many MOTM awards are important for a high quality players development.Quote:
