What a start played old foe friend in CUP probably only beaten him 3 or 4 times across LEAGUE/CL and CUP in over 12 matches maybe more 3-1 win away and 7-0 thrashing at home in 2nd leg 105% v 97% before anyone asks onward and upward

I was leading 3-0 and he came online and his team scored 3. I made 2 changes throughout the match. After conceding 1 i changed to defensive. After conceding 2, I changed 2 players who were below 6 rating. One was a defender. In the end, almost my whole team rating ended below 6.5 with many below 6. What a start to my CL campaign

If anyone can offer any advise, please do. I did not know what to do. When he came online, i immediately saw the rating of my entire team fall from 7 plus to 8 plus to below 7 for almost everyone. What could i have done to prevent this or what i should not have done.
