Why no drop of stars

A similar thing happened to me when I went from manager level 4 to 5. My players did not drop a star, and I suddenly found 7* players in my scout list. However, when the new league was announced, I found myself playing in a higher level league than I should have been. (Me, level 5, against level 6 teams). So my players stayed same star level to compensate for the difference.

It would be interesting to see my opponents and their quality in relation to stars when the league season kicks off.

So far in the Cup, I see the other teams from the same league 13 last season.
They too did not drop any stars!! Admin please advise.

Is it safe to buy Scouts? Will they become 5 stars tmr?

Ok Guys... The Answer is OUT on the start of the League.

WHY THE STARS FOR MY PLAYERS DID NOT DROP?

I am in my 14th Season and Level 14 - Legend....BUT I am playing in Level 13 !!!
The 5th , 6th and 7th team of last season were promoted to level 14 - Legend..
But probably due to the lack of teams, end up playing in level 13!!!

So the PROMOTION was in NAME.. to lvl 14 - Legend
But playing in lvl 13

I have the same issue, went to lv 13 this season but I'm playing in a lv12 league and my players had no loss of star rating. Seemingly it happens as you get to higher levels in the game and there aren't even players of your level (and around your skill level) to form a league.

It's a bit of a cop out game mechanic if you ask me and they should instead look to rebalance players across the servers so that leagues can be formed approriately.
