Out of cup ? ! ? !

Even if i donate a for like 150 tokens this season , even if i am active every day , even if i try to figure out if this game is on tactics or how it works ....

first leg away : 4-3 loss with 1 mc top quality red card , my gk got a rate 4 !(ok i had 10 man)
Second leg home : 1-2 home with all team full condition / quality

4-4-2 vs 4-3-1-2 .... both lose !

i see 2 friends that do not donate , abandon team 2~4 * and they win ... so i will do the same and i win like them ?
i see many people complain about the many things in forum , but moderators are inactive and no solution to this questions
i see i spend like 20$ for nothing and i guess with the old team 4~6 * i would won better ...
i see cup was made by quality but i get teams with 2 lvls over me with LOL players !
i see a lot of things but who care ?

PS. Disgusted how the "tactics" works and that include the Game Engine !

i think i will do that since my 2 friends have the teams abandoned and they win league easy , do a good job in ch league and cup ...

The "Cup" is a lottery, yes. Also the teams that seem to spend a amount of T are "most favoured" in this kind of competitions since the CUP format is based on Q (which means that to get Q, you have to buy/pay for T to reach a certan Q-lvl).

Also if you don´t have a team that is composited of 7* or 8* there is no reason to be dissapointed if you get eliminated in a early stage, since the % to reach a semi-final or final are quite low and the prize money are a joke.

It´s better to concentrate on the CL & League if you want to "win and earn" something, since the CUP is more about prestige.

the problem is we're all right, all the time, we let them know about it but yet nothing happens.

i fullt agree with all the above ive just bee kicked out of cup game by a keeper who was a poor 17 making saves and saving penalties its a total rip off not spending a penny on this twat of a game

i never really care about the cup .. i actually didn't watch my first one hoping i go out .. I always get drawn with teams who are far better than mine .. my team for example had average is 5* of 42.9 with about 11 scouts , my mate is 40.9 .. he get now in a different cup , he meet teams who are avg 40, and i meet teams who have average 52 !! and am in bottom 5 clubs in whole cup ... now where is the fairness ?
one season is ok, but 2nd and 3rd .. comn
if developers want a proper cup, make it fair for all of us, i want to meet teams who are 2+/- than me avg wise
I don't mind losing in the cup , i meet a team with AVG 47.5 , am now 45, so it is always 50-50 .. is small details that make me lose or win those games
but i hate it when others get easier ride

I was lucky enough to win the cup last season. out at the 1st hurdle this year. got drawn against a team that have won the treble for 2 consecutive seasons. Cup is a format where it's higly unlikely you will face an opponent far from you in Quality. Having 5-6 more avg Q means jack if you don't backup it at least with some decent strategy and expecially orders. Before bursting out rage, try to give a more accurate analysis of what happened. Formations, tactics, match statistics.

I faced, ie, a team way weaker than mine (36 q vs my at time 43) and even countering it pretty smartly and dominating, it ended 3-2 for me with the risk of getting out. You can't really go nuts in cup matches as whenever you take out a good opponent, unlike in league or CL, an even stronger one will wipe your ass out.

Or you can set autopilot like many of you says and don't lose health in the process.

If your not the top level or near top level of your server.

Then it is "The more quality you have, the more quality your opponents will have" therefore it is better not to buy any T if you want to win the cup.

I bought 500T and farmed some tokens/boosters during last season and I went out the cup in the first round due to a 3 quality stronger opponent that was a higher level.

I was lucky enough to win the treble last season. with the help of a bit of token buying and daily farming through videos and surveys. I Paid for that in the cup draw by being drawn against an even stronger treble winner from last season.

To win the cup you need to have a low Q team then improve it the most and avoid early elimination. Then next season you get screwed because you will face the better Q teams.

absolutely right. but I for one cant be bothered to 'dumb down' my team by lowering the quality of my team just before the cup draw just to chase a trophy where the prizes don't warrant it. without the distraction of the cup more training time this season!

Yeah me too out of cup... 5 seasons till now always out in preliminary.... :mad:

You would not have to dumb down, you would have to have to sell off your team, but there is also a possibility the system may take a reading of your quality every day and calculate your average quality for the season to calculate your cup draw for the next season. so even selling off your entire team may not work either.

Sorry about your misfortune Ro. From what I'm seeing lately, there's been a change in the game and TACTICS have become absolutely vital. Quality difference has become almost insignificant.

The forum seems to bear that out as well (all the rants about high quality teams being beaten by lower quality, and yet if you look close, those high quality teams in a majority of cases are using poor or inefficient tactics.

Maybe it's just my perception, though.

You know what. I think you might be losing only because of the performances by your GK. I've experienced that and I discovered that it's a pattern. If my GK makes poor ratings like 4-5, I start to lose games vs good opponents. So, I think it's very important to have a top notch goalkeeper in this game. I' m almost sure that you lose because your GK is bad and not because you have a bad team as a whole. Check out how many saves the GK has made in the games you lost. I'm pretty sure there will be none. If the pattern persists, I suggest you buy a new goalie.

Cup is most stupid tournament for 3 reasons:
1. Money reward-i get more money from one friendly game +boosters which i play with my reserves
2. Team balance-all seasons i meet bigger lvl teams than me and mutch stronger than me
3. Strange results-for me personally in this tournament i have always strange rusults loosing from lower team than me and win vs stronger.Most strange and illogical results that I have seen in this tournament.For me this tournament is stuped and i dont care about cup.In both ways that I've seen is stupid, unbalanced and meaningless....

i won the cup last season v token buyer :) this season expected to go out in first round as was playing team above with same quality and 1st leg home went 1-0 down only to come back to win 2-1 second leg again 1-0 down so thought after time was ticking down i`m out on away goals but know i make 1-1 but 2 mins later they go 2-1 up, here come extra time and possible pens ? but no 82 mins i make it 2-2 so can relax a tad but then 85 mins i score again to make it 3-2 and 5-3 on agg.

I would like to say it was HAIR RAISING but I`M BALD :)

Think the cups decent! gives me a chance to play and beat teams that are better than me. The league and champs league im always pretty confident about winning, the cup has a sense of achievement when i take a big scalp.

First round this year, put a team 7 quality higher than myself to the sword (1-0 at home 0-1 away and won it after my keeper saved a penalty) Next opponents much the same, full of scouts. If he puts me out ill have lost to a better team and if i win ill be loving it :)
