If you play them in the back half of the AMR/AML zone, they will stay wide. If you push them forward into the front half of the zone, they will play much more of a free role.

That didn't stop him scoring 10 goals in a game last season, tho. This season he barely averages 1 goal per game.

And this is the best image, he is the 4th most behind player( NO.19) from my team despite being an AML with red arrow.
Might as well discard him since he is garbage this season.

Are you saying that you had Sauzo on back arrows, or are you talking about another player

Red Arrows are the attacking arrows, blue ones are the defensive ones.
I had Suazo NO.19 with red arrows yet he played as a DMC in the last build up.WTF

Funny that I have noticed the same in my aml whom has been perfoming very poorly this season. Seems to also spend his time down below and on the wrong side of the pitch.

If you move your aml/amr too far up the pitch, they start to play not wide but in the middle as cm. There was discussion few years ago https://forum.topeleven.com/top-elev...ion-field.html

Arrows have no impact on this, but player positioning on the field

It happened to my first B Shin player, he was not as good as Sauzo but he always turned up in the big games, I think only once he failed to score or assist, in his last season where I sold him he scored 4 goals in 10 and I made a very tough decision to sell him.
