And training SA should have been done using greens at the start of season as it is the most effective. Those % gained in attributes during the season is best to widen our existing advantage over those typically aging squad of over 25yo, and having no real gain in SA with training at all during the season vs some 15% each gained by 18-21yo is really a waste.

Could not view your sub bench so do not know what other positions you have got. Suggestion here is 4-3W-2-1 (if you only have 1 good ST) or 4-4-2. Equal quality opponent you could pack the midfield instead of playing an extra an unneeded DMC when you already have 4 defenders vs their 3 attackers.

Good luck with your CL final!

This is my normal formation 4 2 3 1 with attacking, man to man, short, no counters.

On certain days I play a 4 1 2 2 1 with my dmc and amc playing as mc.

Thanks for the image with additional bench info.

If deciding on only quality, like Sillybq as mentioned, 4-2M-3-1 attacking middle seems the most logical option for you. Your setup is definitely spot on.

If I were your opponent, looking at your squad (with the limitations of your first-11 having no natural 3 MCs or ML/MC/MR combinations), I would also use his same 3-1DM-3W-3 against you attacking flanks with 3vs on both sides. Your CL match will likely be one with lots of shots and even perhaps a cricket score if both sides are taking chances. Just a bit worried if your 2MC midfield could hold out in case either get an early yellow though.

With the added bench, you are definitely correct to train up the AMC with the MC position, but should complete it at the start of next season with greens if you could save up from now. Your DMC/MC could then stay at MC for a 4-3-2w-1 or move back to become a typical 4-5v-1.

All the best of luck there!
Winning is a form of art. Consistently winning is a show-hand of skills and luck.
