well maybe you could wait til next season to claim him? you usually get more than 1 day, but in truth i wouldnt worry, usually they arent that valuable to your team, most managers the free player wouldn't get in starting line up

You have to finish the entire event with 5 or more trophies to achieve this badge, even if you come last but get 5 trophies, you should still be awarded.
