Personally I would just let him play through it and sub him more often if he performs badly. Eventually he will pick up some form, it was like this with most of my strikers during their career. They had a bad season and then suddenly had some great performances.

My player gets injured in the 35 min. I made the substitution immediately but he gets subbed in 81 min. LoL.

Inspite of the break at 45 min substitution didn't happened.

It never registered.. Sometimes after making the substitution, you need to do anything on your team to click that green tick again to make sure it registers the substitution

In King of the Hill tournament one of my challenger had a pretty strong team but he was using his B team.

So I challenged him immediately and won 3-1. Hehe
