I actually tokens for them to have some training from the academy, and did some training.. They came in at about 100, and I used greens to get em up to 130. I should have done the FK before building them up though.

Recruiting a fast trainer from the market and then training them is always cheaper.

And it also allows you to make mutant players.

Beginning of the season is more difficult to find a fast trainer, I usually find them in 2nd week, and even more in the last week. Training players requires planning ahead...

But then, if you find them in the last week, they lose 20% in a week anyway, so you the still have to get lots of greens to train em back up...
