Old player coming back

Hi guys, I was a very loyal player some time ago. Played for 30+ seasons without a break, with many trophies including 10 triples. I quit this game around 20 seasons ago with 2000+ tokens saved up (I never spend them ), and 1000 greens.

Now I am wondering (thinking about coming back) - how did the game change during last one and a half years? is the match engine better/worse/same? are those tanking teams still a problem? any new trophies to fight for? in general is the game going forward or downhill or just the same stuff but with some cosmetics changed?

I would really appreciate for the feedback. Thank you!

They fixed a lot of stuff.

We complained that we had a lot of cash at higher levels but no use for it.
- they made it difficult to sell players and profit from it

We complained about too many blues and wanted some to change them for greens.
- They fixed that so morale drops faster

We complained about having too many reds at higher levels
- Fixed that too with more injuries

Just kidding. It is more or less the same. I just came back too.
There is the Super Cup now. Not sure if you played that before. Also training has some changes. Introduction of Team Play Bonuses. Less 18 year Olds in auctions. Can't recall anything else.

We asked for a better youth system. Now we got the YA where you can no longer identify an FT from the token cost and most of the players are not.

Only read the first few replies so apologies if this is repeated, but a big change is the youth academy. Instead of getting a potential fast trainer for 8 tokens or so, and the free player, you get the choice of recruiting around 7-8, 17yr old academy players, to fill 4 spots. You can develop them for the season (the more you develop, the more you just make a Nordgen scout type player with high Grey's) and they are usually all rubbish at training up. Mediocre at best. Only good thing is you can pick up some decent offers to train a spacial ability on the cheap, but you still end up with someone nowhere near a fast trainer, so depends how long you like to train and keep your players.
