I think the instructions were quite simple.. Either top of your league or quarter final of ucl. So if a tanker manages to make it to the quarters of the ucl. He will be involved.

That’s not what I read. I quote again (still no screenshot): “Reach the Quarter-finals of either competition to qualify for an exclusive challenge this season - the King of Kings Special.” So although I finished 1st last season, I still need to reach the quarter finals.

Actually. I think you're right.. You have to reach the quarter final of THIS seasons champions league or super cup to qualify

You read : you put the league on notice by finishing in top 8.

Meaning you have entered the qualifying stage. Tankers are out already.

Then you read: now the real challenge begins... reach the quater finals of CL or Cup.

Meaning only top 8 finishers last season should reach the quarter finals.

Part 2 is get to quarter finals of CL or Cup this season.

If you didn't pass part 1, which most tankers won't, then you won't be in part 2.

Everybody tells a player should fulfill both parts to be able to play the event.

Many tankers they play only CL and Cup.. so easy for them to win so they also can join

If it's that easy, just tank and stop whining! You'll see if it's that easy to win. If you know the way how to win and do not follow it, question your cleverness...
