Need help with a Player developing position

So, I use the today offer of get back up to 60% of the tokens you spent and look for a young player, a fast trainer with some luck, and got a pretty nice deal:

My to go formation is mostly 4-2-2-2 or 3-1-2-2-2. So, my doubt is if should I convert him to MC or to AMR? My actual AMR (Lodders) is kinda "old" with 24 years (86% OA), but he was one of my most important players the last 3 seasons, including 46 league goals 2 seasons ago. In the other hand, my 2 MC (Aouadhi 86% and Fierros 108%) are 22 and 26 years each, so...

So, should I transform him on AMR (to replace Lodders) or MC (to replace Aouadhi)? I want to play to AMR and AML always because they score a lot of goals.

I leave a picture of my actual formation, once I got a nice DC I'll switch to 4-2-2-2.

You got a decent 18 year old. The ball is in your court. Wingers like AML/AMR or ML/MR helps the team more for a long time if managed properly while MC's will always be there to chip in goals and assists here and there just not like the wingers.

If you want him to be with you for a long time and have more impact on the team, make him an amr.

Thanks for your answer! Already make it an AMR, will save my last one for rotations since he still good.

Another question, if you don't mind, what's better for him "False 9" or "Dribbling" SA? I was looking for a thread with SA but can't find.

Preference on this forum seems to be towards shadow striker over dribbling ability. My AMR has the shadow striker ability. He still dribbles a couple of times per game even without dribbling SA. Shadow striker helps him shoot from long distances when games/opposition defenses are tight.

Although, free kick specialist is the best. Mine has both shadow striker and free kick. And he scores a ton of goals on free kicks. He can change the outcome of a game alone with his free kick ability.

There are lots of different opinions on SAs, which is an indication that very little is known about them. My personal opinion is that they are all useless and a waste of greens. I won a treble last season and only one of my players has a SA (and I think that was won from the Special Sponsor event). I've not added any SAs for several seasons and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
