If I rename my player, will my opponent see the name I've given him or will he have a generic name when viewed by the opponent? What about if I change nationality?

Sometimes no, especially for iPhone users...if you use a styled font, they see gibberish instead of the name

Thanks for the quick reply, guys. Appreciate it.
Yes it's visible to anyone. When players were bought by real managers many managers used to change their players names to attract more bidders.
Yes fun times back then. lol All these Messis and Ronaldos on the market.
However I am and always was a friend of the generic names the players have. It is more fun for me using those and it is interesting how your squad is scrambled together nationality wise and so on.

I know what you mean, as an iOS user I understand this, sometimes when they do that, some parts of player/team names come out with question marks, it would be nice to view what the team names are if I’m being honest.
You mean when it turns out like that?
Other than that you should be able to view name changes normally if they use normal font.

My attack is AML from russia, AMR from poland, AMC/ST from Spain and ST from Norway. So all european this time. Actually my whole team is european I just noticed, apart from DL from paraguay. Will see how the next generation sets up.
Yeah, was thinking about this as well. Naming the players after friends and opponents from the game. But at the end it doesn't matter.
