Playmaker DL..

I am new to the game. My DL/ML has got playmaker SA from special sponser, my question is how does a playmaker works on a DL..or is it even work when playing as a DL ??

A playmaker DL would be an attacking wingback - think Benjamin Mendy or Andrew Robertson.
Great if you want to use a 4-3-3 formation, attacking on the flanks.
Add the 'attacking' mentality to the DL and DR to add width to your team.

I don't think being a playmaker is really ideal for a DL/ML and if used as ML dribbler would be better

My main CB (who also got LB/CDM secondary positions) got Playmaker as well
Wish we could choose the skill. Definitely would have gone with Defensive Wall or Aerial Defender

Same with my Main ST, He got Corner Specialist. Would have preferred something that helps him actually score goals

Will definitely try it...I really like the full backs to play as wing backs against same quality opponents and they do give me goals and assists from there. Hopefully this ability improves the already good numbers.

Interesting..my other full back has dribbler SA and to be honest, I won't see much difference in his performance after getting that SA.

I absolutely agree with you. Last season my stirker got this Corner Specialist SA from special sponser, and till now it is of no use. Also now the problem is I can't train him any other SA.
