Is Positioning important for striker?

I always thought positioning attribute is only for defender as they need to position themselves properly to block or head away the shot?

As far as I can see, Positioning is the same important as other white skills. For example when your wingers want to crossing to your ST, ST needs better positioning to convert that crossing into a goal. If he has low Positioning, he will missed it and instead opponent's DC will headed or cleared the ball.
