Loaning a player - how do is it work?

I’m quite a new player so I don’t know how it works. There is that offer that popped out on my game to loan a player for 4T. It says that I will be obliged to buy him after the loan ends. How much will I have to pay? Will it be pure cash or some extra tokens???

I loaned a player for 2T the other day on my second team, now they want me to pay 18T to sign him. He is 85% 21 year old DC, so for me not worth.
