playing a no striker formation

Anybody had any joy against a no striker formation:
4-1(DMC)-2-3(AML,AMC,AMR)

I played with nobody but an AMC in the attack a yesterday and it turned out well. He managed to score two IIRC.
Without strikers, you don't have go-to guys who you can kick long balls to, but you still get the opponent box by passes and long dribbles. You just don't get to have as many 1-on-1 plays as a striker with such SA would get you.

I play this formation when playing away against decent opponents. It works a treat.
