yes, GK should be give some points for clean sheets. But in a match more than 1 goal is possible, but more than 1 clean sheet isn't possible. By the way, it's all up to the organizers , whether they want to score it or not and how they score it .

The challange is about the Attacking contribution of your defenses, basically, that's why clean sheets doesn't count.

So, in the case that your GK scores or assists from FKs/Corners/PKs, you can use him to collect points. It is one more position avaliable to gather points.
