How the special hability points you receive work?

Probably newbie question here, but I'm missing something here...
I have been giving and receiving special hability points from my friends, but opposite to rest, morale, or health points, these don't appear anywhere.
I have even put a player training a special hability to see if they were automatically used to accelerate his training, but the special hability is only evolving in games and training.
So what are the special hability points you receive from friends used for? Where can I see how many I've got?

It is given randomly to 1 of your players

And just for reference. Players who are put up for auction would not be considered for this bonus, so it could increase the chances of the daily bonus falling onto 1 of the best 14 players if we put the worst half of the 28-man squad up for auction temporarily and then remove it.

The extra % would be allocated randomly onto any skills.

It’s Skill points you are receiving not anything to do with special ability
When you click on the icon to collect it tells you the player receiving the 4%
And as stated the player is selected randomly.
