How to initiate a transfer purchase (once other squad has set their price)?

When I bid on a Transfer player (from another squad), I sometimes receive a notification that says:
“Other squad has set their asking price.”
I go to that player profile....and I cannot see where (or how) to find the other manager’s offer that he established (for me to decide to meet his offer and buy the player).
Anyone know?

It's possible that someone else has met the asking price or the seller has removed the player from sale.

When you try to update your offer, increase the price as much as you can. At some point, it should say something like “Buy now” instead of “make offer”. The point where it says buy now is the asking price.
