How it is calculated?
For Example, if possession was 50-50 at that moment and i got 10% bonus
1. My possession will rise to 60-40 (+10 to mine straight away)
2. It would be 55-55 (+5 to mine and -5 to anoter)
3. It would be 55-55 but... (+10% from 50 and add to my possession)

Let try another
if my possession was 60-40 and got 10% bonus
1. My possession will be 70-30 (+10 to mine straight away)
2. It would be 65-35 (+5 to mine and -5 to anoter)
3. It would be 66-34 (+10% from 60 and add to my possession)

I understand that it doesn't make much different but i do want to know so if anyone know this pls tell me.

10% possession bonus means you get a bonus 10% possession, that's all really. That's added to other calculations involving quality, morale, etc....No one here knows how that's calculated. Only the game developers can help you out of this one to be honest

Sorry, was this confirmed by the DEVS?

I understand the question and I have pondered this one myself.

1) You start the game with 50%.
2) So you have home bonus and you watch the match and the other manager is not watching = +13%

The question is this:

1) Do you get +13% of the 50% = ~56%, or
2) Do you get +13% to add to the 50% = 63%

This may seem simple to most but we start working in percentages so it seems logical to work either way.

And sometimes you see possession greater than 70% even with no spectators and hardly any bonus possession, so we know formations, quality and tactics have effect on possession.

We can also surmise that some formations will grant more possession against certain formations. We know the NGE takes this into account and will will most likely NEVER know the real numbers, but through testing we should be able to approximate the numbers. This would take a ****load of time and testing and would not really be worth it if the NGE is tweaked every season.

It's capped if the stadium capacity exceeds the cap at certain levels.

What level are they on, out of curiousity?

don't worry too much... it's all random. for example I got a 80% possession because the opponent had an illegal formation... but the final score was still only 0-0 ))))))))))) so nothing really matters...

To be honest I think it's a load of rubbish. I have lost to a manager who didn't watch the game and my team was much better and I have also beat teams with loads of their buddies watching/supporting them.
