What were your biggest mistakes concerning your squad?

I don't know why, since 2 days I can't stop thinking about my French young striker star Raphael Monnier I sold him because I wanted to build a full 3 star team (I am lvl 2, and during I am writing I have a lvl 19 team ready for lvl 20 very soon), 19yo, SA one on one, top scorer, and for what? For 1,3M! But who cares about 1,3M?! I did a veeeeeeery big mistake! Ok great I do have the best team compared to all other teams facing me in the 2 cups and league but if had damn waited 2 or 3 more days, I would still have him now

Some of the players I bought in have been stinkers, and finding them hard to sellon, will probably end up just sacking to make room on the bench. You learn as you go. I'm sure almost all real world managers regret offing and buying certain players over the years

5 stars? How you did? Personal training? It looks quite (too) fast in improvement (it means an average from lvl 25 to 29 in all fields), I barely reached 3 stars with my youngsters (general lvl 19 and 17) since 02/05/13, but I preferred to focus them onto the field they are playing, so lvl 23 for my ML in attacking, and 24 for my DC in defense. I bought a young 18yo MC today for 1,5M and he is already at a general lvl 20. I do have also a now 4 stars young GK since my debut who is 21yo now, with a lvl 22 (~28 in defense). These 4 youngsters, I will definitely keep them as long as I can.

I didn't do any mistakes yet, so I can't contribute to this thread yet. Well, okay, maybe it was a little mistake to sell one DC with 4 Stars and Age 22 or 24, but I have better DCs and I got too much DCs, so ... it was no mistake. Atleast I got around 260k for that player.

I have been playing for awhile but at the start was not so focused as I am now since coming on the Forum and hearing everyone's tips and stories and I would say biggest mistake was not coming on sooner so that I could understand the game as I do now.

i`v not made any mistakes yet i have a 21 man squad with 8 players 6* the rest are 5* but at least 7 of those i can improve to 6* and won`t need to sell just yet as my oldest is 21 and ave team age is 19.5 so will prob be a few season before i sell

not bad for a non token buyer i guess and i`m now level 8 and should get promotion this season

Don't know about my squad. But the biggest mistake I've made, is starting the game in the first place. I enjoy it so much, that I have to plan my day around the kick-off times for the matches. I don't seem to have a life outside now.

I made an illegal formation and didn't understand why I had only 20% of possession against a weaker team and lost 0-1.
