Managers are assigned into servers with the least number of active players, so it will keep the auctions active with reasonable bidding among all servers. Nordeus could also gain by collecting Ts with those bids.
Servers covering all countries also make sense as it will be fair to all managers in all time zones. Imagine if a server only has European players, then there will be a riot of bids for even rubbish players in certain hours when most of them could play. Then many would complain they cannot even buy rubbish players.
My own observation is auction market tends to go quieter from around 11pm GMT to 2am GMT (excluding day 1 to 3 when many can somehow sleep less). Probably most Europeans (going to sleep), Africans (sleeping) and Asians (just getting up) are not as active. FT just needs 2 managers’ bidding to go to the roof, so that’s just how it would be. May get some 5T bargain on young 80%+ players if lucky.
