Cause you have 3 mids and he has 5 pheraps? Midfield control is the key for any wish for victory in this game. Even a 3-4-3 woulda have crushed him, much more a 3-4-1-2 or a 3-1-4-2

i think its getting unrealistic aswell . i know in my league a guy has not lost a match and his players are only 3. stars he plays a 4.4.2 . i have 4 .5 stars but i lose to players with 2.3 stars

yesterday i lost to a much weaker team with formation 5-3-2 an he had 20 total shots and i had just 5 (my formation 4-4-2)

Those of you who play Football Manager will know that formation is as important as players' quality. With a 5-man midfield, it is either u forced plays through the flanks, or play direct and long balls like what the old Bolton team under Big Sam. In order for either these 2 to work, you got to maintain at least 2 strikers.
