Who plays the game without purchasing tokens, scout players etc?

Every game with in-app purchasing I have ever played and visited forums for, I've seen the usual moans about paying players, and players hailing themselves because they don't spend anything. I mean,play it whatever way suits you, why should it bother you what others do? The token players help keep the game online, if Nordeus weren't making anything from the game they'd give up supporting it, it would eventually be pulled. SO be thankful, in a way, to the token buyers, because they are helping to keep your game free

@KGaule: The OP was frustrated, rightfully so, and you turn this into a "be thankful for token buyers cuz they keep this site going" thread.

I am not thankful to any token buyer for supporting the Nordeus attitude of "pay for a better chance to win." They are preying on the win-at-all-costs mentality that can be exploited so easily on the internet.

To be fair to Nordeus, good on them for finding a way to scam money instead of using hard work to earn a living. This is the American Dream come to reality for them.

Anyway, I did the first season without spending, finished 5th. BLAH BLAH BLAH. It's a management game! Real world managers deal in tonnes of money, they would never have the players they do have without a big budget. The top teams at least. Do you frown upon Real Madrid, because they spend more than other teams?

This is NOT real life, nor is it a close simulation to it. What you are basically saying is if you want to succeed, spend more money on this game or shut the hell up.

We all want a fair competition and we are all frustrated, Tommys and non-buyers alike, when we meet opponents that are of much higher quality. For the non-Tommy, it happens more frequently and THAT is what gets frustrating. You enter this game not knowing that the odds for you to win are heavily against you unless you spend tons of hours trying to get the right players on the cheap. So it either costs you money for tokens or time, both of which are valuable.

Nordeus tries to make it more fair for everyone, but really, they only care about the Tommys. It is very similar to VIP status. I guarantee if you spend a ton on tokens and send a support ticket, you will be at the head of the queue and it will be resolved to your satisfaction. That is the way business is these days and screw the little guy.

Lets face it: this game is not fair on MANY levels and if it were more fair, only the Tommys would suffer because they would lose the advantage they pay for. That is why you see many Tommys saying that there would be no site without them. Bull**** with a capital B.

True that almost all games online are there to make money, but there is a difference between fair and unfair, and making money and scamming/exploiting.

Look at this bejewelled journey-game-****-thing. I wanted the 1 token for adding it to FB. I played it for 24 levels to learn it and it is bejewelled on steroids, with the same setup as T11 where you can pay for things to make the game easier. BUT, they make it so that in later levels, you need these things to complete the levels. Sure, they give you the first couple of them for free, but then it starts to cost you, or you lose the game, or you dont score very high for each level and they make you seem a failure.

My point is this: T11 is made to be not fair in order for you to buy tokens so they can pay their bills. You can play it without tokens, but you will need to spend much time in the auction list or farming free tokens to win. If you do it without these two things, then you won the T11 lottery. Seriously, this is similar to an online casino, where the odds are stacked against you to win.

People who complain about the unfairness of this game dont need to be lectured. Either listen to their complaints or dont read the thread.
