Ive got a few players 1 cone from next star but is it better to not assign them and still train faster or do they take it as assigned and they start training slower ?

as much as i read in forum he will get slow in training regardless

as they get older they train slower, i have 5 star starting 11 team that have 75 skill point`s each to add but not adding till i see if Nordeus have screwed me in league again by placing me in higher level again, that being said i`v not noticed any change in speed

Player growth is individual and doesn't depend that much on rating.
Last season my first squad gk (20years old then) became scout after first few trainings. By the end of season his rating increased from 64.x (near 65) to 68 (45+ cones). He was best player and still is in top of my squad, but some weaker (5 stars) and younger players didn't progressed that much or they had similar growth difference.

Reason I ask is I have a lot of 18-21 yo and might train SA on couple or them before moving them up to scout.

I train SA's to the 4* players now and went me well... but all depend of how play the player without SA and what you want to do lol

Yes, there training speed will slow down even if you do not assign them skill points......

Yep. So if you assign them to an SA or Role, they no longer count against Q and their speed shouldn't change. I usually go for a high 3* if I want to make an extra role & SA and 4* if just one or the other. Then assign points to the attributes how I like to get them to 5*.

So, from what i read, you guys train your players until they got 5***** with a 9 at the end (ex. 39 quality) and after that you train them for a SA or a new role?

Nope. I train the SA or Role before ever adding anything to Quality.
