There do seem to be a lot of cynical people on here. I take the complete opposite view. I am (and have been now for many seasons), friends with a number of managers in my leagues. Currently I am friends with 9 other managers in my league. 4 of them have been my friend for over 5 seasons. We all get to play regularly in each league as we progress. I have no problems with unwanted friendlies, as we respect each other, and support each other in cup competitions.

Since I started playing (ten seasons ago), I have accumulated 115 in game friends, and have only ever had problems over unwanted friendlies, from three people, who I deleted almost immediately. Quite a number of my friends have become so, whilst dealing in the transfer market.
