Ever since they changed the market back in 2016 i think, with the new market it is always expensive, time consuming and difficult to find 18y old 3-4* players.
I returned 1 year later to see if you can get young players without waiting countless hours for them to pop up on the market, but it seems like nothing changed.
A real shame...
Used to be so excited 8 years ago to wake up at 7 30 AM Bucharest time to recruit players but it seems those days are long gone.:( :(
lol, this is because they want u to use the youth academy. simple.
if they give so many 18yo on the market then nobody use their youth academy and coaches ends up they wont get any money from there
Academy still gives out a maximum of 4 players, also you re not guaranteed any player from your academy to be a fast trainer or anywhere near that level of training.Quote:

One of the biggest reasons why i quit 1 year ago and 3 years ago was because I spent too much time on the market replacing my key players that became too old to maintain their stars.
I genuinely don t understand why they don t raise the number of players you can bid every 4 minutes.
Also, the fact that as a lvl 3 player you can bid against a lvl 50 player is very stupid because obviously they have more tokens than you.
A good addition to the auctions market was the fact that they return your tokens if you don't win the players you bid on.
I dont understand why they not increase the number of players in the list too.
Or they better give us long list with something like 1to3 hours of waiting time. That waiting 4 minutes where it is like 0 to 1 desired player ever and ever again is very annoying.
And for all, getting and raising new players are not interesting anymore just because there is no place to do this :).
They not made anything special or made any good improvements since 2017 with pitch layer change.
Remember that you can manipulate the assistant to get offers with 18 aged players if you already have 1...Quote:

I haven t had a fast trainer academy player ever since the new academy was reintroduced 3 years ago.
And i had to wait for hours to buy 3-4* 18y old players in the positions I needed and spent over 25T for each one only to find that they were slow trainers.
You either get used to the academy players that are slow trainers or you spend more hours on the market than watching matches every month, which is stupid...
I think it takes in consideration your worst player in first 11 and gives you a slightly better alternative similar in age.Quote:

Only players who are fast trainers in academy are gk for me.
They need to add bigger lists or/and longer waiting time in transfer market. They need to change negotiation system for sure.
And for sanity - if i have resources to train my player(s), why they force us to train them so slowly. Training happens for ages.
my experience with 18yo is when it rains, it floods.
and if I see a dry spell after minutes of watching the market, I simply took the exit.

well when i say young mostly 20-21, 18&19 1token bid will most definitely not won the bidding.
well if they're not FT i will sack em immediately. rather do that than waste go into bidding war for more than 10+ tokens only to find out the 18yo are actually slow trainer

Back in the good old days, a player with good specific attributes performed well even in his last season, like this player David Owen, signed at 19 yo, 84%, trained him well, end up saving the whole team from embarrassing defeats on countless occasions and well most of the trophies are a courtesy to him. A true hall of Famer.

So for me at least 3 seasons with the player from 18 to 20 is a quarter of their career, and i can boost their rating as high as possible and after that just maintain them.
But for me the process of recruitment was the main reason i gave up for the 4th time on the game.
Spending hours and hours every day to replace my main players isn t very entertaining.
In my first comment on this post i was talking about how easily you could buy fast trainers before 2016 with the new market, since every morning at 7 AM Bucharest time at the beggining of the season the market was filled with 18-19y players with abilities and fast trainers.
For me to continue the level of success i used to have with my account i need 18y players with decent training rate, something i can t find on the market without spending 5 hours everyday for a week, or taking useless academy players slow trainers.
In my opinion it s enough that i spend 1 hour and a half watching ads and training my players everyday besides watching my matches, and i shouldn't have to spend much time in recruiting my players like i used to.
The last fast trainer my academy gave was just before they introduced this NEW ACADEMY, after that not one Fast Trainer spotted in 2 full yearrs.
