Placed 9th in league and still tehy took 20% from my team it's bs

How in the world does a 9th place qualify me for losing 20%? I thought if you placed 9th and under you do not promote and therefore you do not lose the percentage of your team. So I want to know how other players get their teams to be 120 and higher. I played against teams in the league last season at 130 plus how can you ever get a team to me that high in percentage if every time you get it to 110 115 they put you down to 90/95 %? This is pure BS!

Does anyone have some advice about this?

You have promoted, try to be 11th if you want to stay in the same level.
