Rival manager arrives -- they score

Anyone else notice how when the rival manager arrives part way through the match, their team scores within 2 minutes?

Is it some kind of reward for watching?

Yes this is very true. I have seen this happen often. But it has also happened from my side when I join a game late so I cannot complain too much.
