Player not performing well

I trained 18 old ST a academy player and his white skills are above 270% and I put two special abilities FK taker and Versatile Attacker. But he’s not performing well for some reason. He barely scores from free kick although he has free kick taker special ability. I also have other 3 key players in my squad. Any suggestions guys ?

because we are at the mercy of the computerized simulation algorithms not uniquely the skills of players or even the condition of the team. I can tell you I have a ST that has very high skills and yet misses 9 shots out of 10 and often does not even score. I know the simulator algorithms are what cause things to be. Yesterday I played a team I should have easily beat at least 3-0 or 3-1 I barely won 1-0 but ask yourself why. Because if I scored more than one goal I would have been 4th instead of 6th because of goal differential. This would have qualified me for CL instead of Super League where I will be eliminated for sure because I am the third strongest team out of four the two top teams are 13 and 18% stronger than mine. It's all a big programmed scam. If I do not spend to improve my team and make it more competitive I will not advance. Algorithms also keep moving players on the pitch in parts where they do not belong I see it all the time a center forward or ST placed in the middle should mostly stay in the center part or at least move inside the box, instead I saw my AMR who is a winger play center forward, the ST playing on the right wing, central midfielders playing on the flanks. I realize that players move on the field and do not always stay in their positions but they do not stray greatly from their ideal position. This is why we have a formation set pretty much as we set it. If the AI starts moving players out of their ideal positions they will not perform well and miss a lot of shots on goal. If the AI keeps moving my striker slightly out of position when he shoots he will miss and not score. This is how they manipulate the results of the game. In addition, they will always make a very young player miss more and perform worse because they take into consideration the inexperience on the pitch, I noticed this too. Play him more in friendlies and make him gain experience and he will perform better eventually. However, remember one very important thing, they manipulate the game a lot so what we do in training and rest, morale etc. only is valid to some degree. I have prepared and trained at 40% bonus and had my team on superb morale with even some players on fire and at 99% rest, had all my best players and lost with an inferior team. Percentage coincidence? Not so. It's simulator algorithm manipulation.
