I've been trying to sell a group of players basically for 2 weeks, They are still not sold. What happened to the selling process? Do we now take huge losses on sales relative to stated value of the player?

Try the lowest price. Otherwise just sack them.

Sell them to an agent, you won't get as much as you want but it saves all the hassle.
I have had the opposite situation i have been able to sell players much easier than before i sold 2 today put them at top price and they sold within 20 minutes
did you put them on sale at max possible price

Sorry, but everything went harder or wrong in recent years.
You won't sell players at max possible price. It's even hard to sell them at lowest price. The best option is to just sack them (if you dont need money).
Yes i had a few players that were worth 1.5mil put them max price and they sold
I am actually finding it much harder to buy players at auction than ever before cause when i try it is just 200+ teams bidding stupid amounts for every player itis like they got so many tokens they will just outbid you easily even though they dont need these low star players
