Player Academy from sponsor

Does anybody know if these player trainings work if you have players that have the attributes over 200?
I remember that the paid trainings and the ones who cost a lot of resources (greens and tokens) don t give any attributes over let's say 180.

If that is the case from next season i won't even buy the sponsor.
They found a way to ruin this as well....

Just pick a player and you can see how much improvement they'll make

The best players you have will only improve 3-5 percent

I have currently a 185% player with most of the white attributes over 250%.

I highly doubt my player will gain anything from these trainings.
