How can you avoid a new season drop in team/players ability.
Last season my team was at 93 but I noticed in the new season after losing only 2 players (low quality) due to retirement my team dropped to 73.
Why does this happen and how can I avoid such a great drop in team/player score?
The only way to avoid this is to not promote but I guess this is not something that you look for.
What you experience is normal because the stars reflects your team quality for that level.
Example: If you are level 5 and your team quality is 100%, someone who is level 6 sees your team as 80%. You went 1 level higher so you see your team weaker, however if you check the true quality of the players (the number after the percentage), you will notice that stays the same.

Why not associastion has nothing to do with your league, it's a different part of the game/league?
If you left below 8th position in league, you get 1x modifier in asso and you not get rewards that season from it. If you left below 8th position in league 2 seasons in row, you are disqualified from asso that season, you not get any rewards and your asso team suffer from it.
I hate all this because your league results influences your association.
People can stay on the same level on purpose and exploit the associate this way.
it's Nordeus punishment for not losing 20% of quality. They got you over the barrel either way. If you tank and not promote you stay in that level keep your quality and hopefully are placed in a easier league where you will fair better. You actually must finish under 9th place one season I arrived 9th they still promoted me and I still lost the 20% team quality but then I lost the Association rewards. The objective of this game is to have you promoted in perpetuity so that you are forced to better your team next season which means you must spend money and or waste half of your free time trying to win free tokens on the stupid and difficult games they offer in the free token category. This whole system is ridiculous and far-fetched according to reality. Although it is true that when a real team is promoted from one lower league to the next they end up encountering stronger teams but this game purposefully makes you weaker but also places you in a league where the teams are already much stronger for a variety of reasons, one being they tanked their team and kept their original quality so that when you promote and lose 20% you end up encountering teams that are 10% 20% or more better than yours. In real football, though you do not lose the quality of your previous season, you simply get promoted in an upper league where the teams are almost never 10 to 20% better, and in addition at one point if you do that well you arrive in the top league, let's say for example in Italy they have Serie A then under every letter indicates a lower league, Serie B then C1 and C2 D however, let;'s assume you start in Serie D, first of all they have two groups within they play the season and the first two of each group move up in Serie C 2. The last three of Serie C2 relegate you down to D, and so on, If you arrive in Serie A then you stay there, there is no more promotions, and you relegate back to Serie B if you are the last three in the final standings, The first three promote in Seria A and that is it. This is how real football works more ir less in all countries except in the Tope Eleven Nordeus world.. They need to keep promoting you into endless leagues to keep you hooked on having to constantly become better by spending money. In reality, the game would be fairer if they had it set up as real football. You go up in levels until a certain point. For example, you keep promoting to level say, 20 but never lose 20%, if you arrive last four you go down one level while the level under the first four promote in their place., when you reach level 20 you arrive in the top league there as well as in all others you can stay, relegate bui no longer promote, then it is up to you and others to make their team stronger in the way you prefer, either spending money or not. You can go down or stay. Then when you reach this top league it is then that you can qualify for CL or Super League. the cup competition should be as they are in all other nations between teams in the same league level as a national cup competition. this would actually allow teams to end up equalizing and be more competitive in all levels. When you do this you end up always having a rotation between teams that are all within similar quality. If you think about it that is how real football works. one may think this limits teams but it does not, You do not need to reach level 100 and go on, There are enough players in the world that play this game to always create new leagues even if they stop going up in level. A this point they need to subdivide all the various levels and create new leagues for each level achieved and that is it. If you have played the game and reached level 50 you take all the level 50 managers add 5 new levels and everyone competes to reach level 55 to which one arrives then stays there, then all teams in the world that reached level 55 are subdivided in leagues as they are now with the exception that now you can go back to level 54 if you relegate then you have to try to get back to level 55 in order to qualify for CL and Super League. this would make all the difference and would be fairer to all and allow you to build up your team as you want to do without being ever penalized for doing well. In addition, the rewards for winning a league and or CL an SL should be similar to the ones one gets in association, in other words, money, tokens, and boosters.In addition in all competitions, all the top players should get rewards not only the top scorer. If I had the finances and programmers I would create a game just as I said and it would be fairer and more fun for everyone.
