Thread: will i be punished for playing asymmetrical ?

    will i be punished for playing asymmetrical ?

    am planing to use this tomorrow facing 2nd who play narrow diamond.. it is a must win away match for me bcz will drop points facing 3rd as he has superior side and playing him away.. so have to win to get 4 points gap facing the 2nd

    so trying to play
    RB.......CB..CB..CB..............
    ..............DMC...................
    RM......CM......CM...........LM
    ...............ST.....................

    he has 2 scouts STs .. so tempted to go with an asymmetrical formation at back with 3 in center.. so will i be punished by the game engine?

    Well, it's not a conventional formation but it's not illegal. You have a very good chance of getting something from the game.
    But tbh - if I had any idea how the game engine calculates things, I'd be a much happier bunny.

    No. It's harder to beat asymmetric formations and they can be good so go for it.

    yes i noticed that bcz i played facing a side who played with that combination in back 4 and give me lots of headache
    but this engine is unpredictable .. i tried many times things that worked against me but never for me

    You only need 3 CB against a 4-1-2-1-2. And of course, a DMC. Could use a 2nd ST instead of that RB
