I have lost a GK in training, but never in the match. Goalkeepers seem to be on a hiding to nothing, their scores are virtually determined by the players upfield. The only thing that stops me carrying one keeper is that you cop the penalty for an illegal formation if you get an injury during the match and have no reserve keeper.
