help! I bought a player learning a special skill

so i bought a player that said "learning penality kick stopper"
after buying him when i tried to add this ability to him i found that he has zero skill points
where did the skill points go ?

Are you all sure about that? Because I personally don't see a point in assigning the skill points until I've got all of them. I could decide to sell the player and that would be handy to raise the player's price - I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that way.
