how are the leagues sorted

are you randomly thrown into a league or does it depend on your squads average rating or what?

You are put into a friend's league if you are on the same level and server. If you don't have any friends on your level then it's just random

reason i asked was, if it was sorted by ratings, i was wonderinf whether people waited until the 3rd day to see who was in their league before they start making signings. anyway, will be an exciting day tomorrow then.

only thing that sorted by rating is muppet cup, where as champions league ( if top 4 ) is same level( e,g your level 3 ) you only play level 3) and league is random unless as dv8r said
